How do CryptoPunks work?You can determine the authenticity of each CryptoPunk by hashing its reference image and comparing it to the hash of a particular image in the token nodes.
Since the images are too large to be stored on the blockchain, Larva Labs has created a composite image that contains every 10,000 tags. There is a hash for this in the CryptoPunks token contract.
