If you’re talking about day-trading, then there are huge overlaps because chances are you’ll be using the same indicators. Because in the end, with crypto, you’re still trading assets that are moved by the same kind of market forces(supply and demand and all that).

Of course, don’t expect it to be literally 100% similar.

Yes, There is many difference between Crypto Trading and Forex Trading. For example Forex trading is more risky than Crypto trading. Forex trading looks like gambling if you don't have any idea about the indicators you may lose all of your money on it. On the other hand Crypto trading also risky but not like the Forex.

btw here is a link about the difference between Forex and Crypto trading. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/cryptocurrency-vs-forex-market-similarities-073453354.html?

hello everyone.
i sign up in this website to study how to trade crypto. i have traded little in forex but i do not understand major part of it. is crypto trading the same with forex trading?
I do not trade forex but there's a big difference from the two of it. The fluctuation that you get in forex is higher than the usual volatility of crypto.
But we always tell people when they're about to trade crypto, they should be aware of the risk. So I think that you're very much fond of the risk with forex too.

i have account with binance and i have 85 usdt i dont know if it is too small for trading but that is what i can afford. anyone can help me with the link of how to learn from beginning and what type of thing to learn.
That's a good start for someone like you in trading crypto. If you have an idea about trading in forex, there's not that really a need for you to learn a lot aside from the fact that you get to trade with too many altcoins.

I do not trade forex but there's a big difference from the two of it. The fluctuation that you get in forex is higher than the usual volatility of crypto.
It depends, forex are automatically traded using leverage which is called lots size, the more the size the higher the risk. Spot crypto trading is also still risky, depending on the coin you are trading, the best is to hold when the market dump. If we compare crypto future trading to forex trading, they are both risky, depending on the leverage size that is used.

Cryptocurrencies are very volatile while forex markets are more stable. ... Such moves are rare in forex markets and mostly occur in exotic pairs. In this light, it is easier to control risk on forex, but the profit potential is bigger in crypto markets.

If you are asking about in between Crypto and Forex, yes they are differ to one another mate. Because in Forex trading you are using the real fiat currency and the duration time of trading is very minimal or very limited unlike in cryptocurrency trading is the opposite of Forex, But both side can give a good profit depending in the choice of the traders as well through their skills of understanding in terms of trading.

i have account with binance and i have 85 usdt i dont know if it is too small for trading but that is what i can afford. anyone can help me with the link of how to learn from beginning and what type of thing to learn.

All guides trading on Binance are already on their academy subdomain you can learn a lot from their academy site about trading on their platform.
Here's the link https://academy.binance.com/en/articles?page=1&tags=trading

All posts above are the same and it doesn't provide you what actually you need. However, forex and crypto trading is the same why? because you should do the basic thing "Buy low and sell high" and they are both trading. Take note you can also trade BTC, ETH on forex and other altcoins.

If you want to learn more about trading crypto this link below is the right place to start.

While Forex price variations are smaller and clearer, dictated by politics and news about central banks, the price of crypto can change greatly in very short time for no reason (or no apparent reason).
While the charts, indicator and basics are the same, it's much harder to foresee the crypto price movements. That's also why many see crypto trading closer to gambling.

Trading forex and crypto are almost the same. The trading name makes it different, but you can try to use analysis from forex to crypto trading because I heard from my friend that they could get something from the forex analysis such as an indicator or else.

$85 in your Binance account is enough to start crypto trading but I suggest learning more about crypto trading. The best thing about crypto trading is when you lose in trading and still hold the coin (bitcoin), you can recover it later when the price increases higher.

Very different, the trading pairs perspective in forex is absolutely different from Cryptos and also the amount of deviation in a day is highly different too, in forex leverages of 100x are considered pretty normal and an experienced trader won't trade below 50x leverage while in Cryptos even the most experienced don't go above 25-30x leverage. The volatility is the major difference, also forex is influenced by a lot of factors and you can easily find negatively correlated trades to ensure you are adequately hedged in any position while in Cryptos if BTC falls, everything just follows it.

The concept of trading is same but they are two different platforms for trading. One is for country stocks and the other is for global currency platform. Crypto currency is the global currency and anyone can use it and there are different centralized and decentralized exchanges for trading. But in forex trading, government involves. And every country has its own forex market.

Since you are talking about trading then I can say that trading and forex are similar in the sense that the principles necessary to trade one market or the other are the same, the indicators are the same and you could even use the same strategy in cryptocurrency markets than the one you use in forex, however there is one caveat, the markets move very differently, the volatility in this market is extreme, so extreme that in many cases it mimics what you could see in the forex market if you were using leverage, so you need to be very careful or your small capital could be depleted relatively fast.

Start with babypips.com

This is the place on where i do start up and i could say that it is really that helpful when you are starting from scratch. Then trade up with small amounts and try to apply on what you had learn
and since you do already have some idea with the terms then it is really somewhat easy to understand.

but here's the hardest part is when you do make trades.Price is way too unpredictable and the difference between forex and crypto is in talks of volatility and unpredictability of the price.

You should be aware on what you are dealing with because im a previous forex trader but due to the slow pace movement of price then crypto market did really interest me.

There's a difference of course but in general, we are studying the same pattern and concept with regards to trading so if you already have knowledge and experience in trading, you can easily adopt other market, you just need to familiarize yourself with the platform and you can start trading.

Well, it looks like you are still a newbie so you must still learn how the trading works, and what are the  indicators that you can use to start trading. Better to spend time learning first because crypto market is also a risky market.

is crypto trading the same with forex trading?
Before you asking this basic question, have you tried to google first?
There are already many sources that can describe the difference between crypto trading and forex trading once you google it. Anyway, it is actually very clear that crypto trading and forex trading are different. Simply, trading in crypto is much easier and more flexible than forex trading. You can trade every time in crypto exchange, and you don't have a hard requirement to trade in crypto.

Read these sources for more understanding:
1. https://hackernoon.com/crypto-trading-vs-stock-trading-three-main-differences-851c1fdf082b

i want to learn how to trade from this website.
Note that we don't trade on this website. It is just a forum to discuss everything about crypto, especially about Bitcoin.

i have account with binance and i have 85 usdt i dont know if it is too small for trading but that is what i can afford
For a newbie or beginner, $85 is more than enough to start your crypto trading journey. There is no need forcing you to spend much money once you just know about crypto trading. Learn should be your priority now, don't think much about gaining big profits.

Crypto and Forex trading might be similar in several ways, but still, there a very huge gap in between the two, crypto trading (depends on the type of trading) is far more less risky and also easier to understand than Forex trading, and like some one here already mentioned, forex trading is similar to gambling, ones the money is gone, it's gone and theres nothing you can do about it, but in crypto, things are a bit different most especially when you are trading in the spot market, you can only loose your money when you choose to loose, cus you only loose when you sell, if you buy a coin hoping it pumps up so you can sell and make profit, but it goes down instead, you can choose to hold it until it brings in the desired profit, but in Forex trading, its different, ones you loose, you loose, no choices.

is crypto trading the same with forex trading?
This question has been asked a number of times across this forum. You may get into such topics so that you may get some more interesting data and resources along with what has been discussed on this topic.

On quick search I found these:
Which one is better? Forex or crypto currency trading?
is bitcoin trading like stock trading, forex, someone in middle or neither?
Can i used specific forex trading indicator in crypto trading?
choose forex trading or crypto trading..?

In my opinion, all trading are similar as technical part is based on basics of mathematics but due to high volatility (which may happen because of manipulations), sometimes some of technical may vary along with situations. But, fundamentals of cryptos and forex is completely different.

Trading in forex and cryptocurrency is in different aspects it depends where you learn still they are riding both in market volatility. In forex, you are focusing on the digital assets of the different currencies, in cryptocurrency we have different options like as bitcoin ,ethereum, bnb and etc. Those are both good for trading still depends on your personal preferences where to trade. As long as the trading gives you a good outcome and profit it's more ideal to go with.

There is nothing much different since it's almost the same. The principle still applies as cryptocurrencies are still currencies like the USD or GBP or YEN. The indicators used in forex still applies you just have to forget those NFP or the news of the ECB but the fundamental news in crypto like the SEC regulations affects the prices, particularly in BTC.

85USDT will work for long-term trading like but you have to choose a cheapcoin/USDT to trade.
