Dogecoin has absolutely no reason to invest in other than the fact that it has become a meme with a reliable community. The only reason to buy doge is to hope to sell at the top of a pump and dump. Although maybe Elon has lost enough credibility in the crypto community by now.

Also I think Elon just wanted to manipulate the market, make some profit and back out again. Thats how it seems to me.

Elon's market manipulation is known to everyone, it's realized and not a secret anymore, about whether Doge can stand alone without Elon, for me when Elon stops tweeting about him and making noise related to coin Doge, maybe Doge will sinking quickly considering the pump that has been going on against Doge is the result of Elon's tweets, although Elon's credibility is currently declining but surely there are still many people who believe in him and become his followers and if Elon really stops, then I think Doge will also lose the trend.

don't expect dogekoin to be as high or to hype as it is today without Elon Musk.  because nowadays coin doge can get hype due to strong influence of Elon Musk.  without Elon Musk Doge is nothing.  so doge will still be in crypto but its value will come back in a low position

My vision of dogecoin is, that without Elon Musk support, its price will stay on the same level, and as previously, will go up only several times per year, and then go back. Not like it will just survive, but it wont do anything or nothing will happen to it.

I doubt that Elon Musk will even pay attention to dogecoin in future. For me, it even looks that he is much less interested in cryptocurrency and is more focused on something else.

I think Doge will indeed be able to stand alone without Elon Musk's intervention like before Elon came. from the previous data doge still exists and is still at the top on coinmarketcap. when Elon Musk sells the Dogecoin he owns, I think Dogecoin will again have a low price. I also have the thought that when the price of Doge went high a few months ago, I think the bearers of Doge sold their coins at a high rate, and kept the price of Doge at this point.

It has its own community indeed, however, Dogecoin won't achieve much without the promotion of influential personalities. Let's keep in mind that Doge was created as a meme/troll coin and has no real purpose, a few gambling websites use it though, but nothing special. It'll probably go with the flow of the market (Bearish/Bullish) but with nothing more to it.

On the other hand, Elon will probably mess with it again in the near future, don't be surprised if it suddenly skyrockets again.

Actually at first, after that big pump and dump on Dogecoin, I am really disappointed and also feel that Doge will not be able to pump again without the power of Elon Musk.

From what I can see, Dogecoin has far lower acceptability when compared to coins that are much below it in terms of market cap, such as Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Monero and Ethereum Classic. From 2014 till the end of 2020 year (if I’m not mistaken) Doges lived without Elons’ support. Their price was very low: 0.0002$ at the early beginning and then raised to 0.002$ at 2017 year. This coin was nothing but just a nice mem coin that was given as a benefit for mining Lite and miners hodl it without any thoughts to sell for such funny money. Only Elons’ support and constant tweets (from the end of 2020 year) strengthened Doges and stimulated to increase drastically. Traders believe in Elon, not in Doges. So yes, probably if once Elon will tweet “I’m selling all my doges” (or smth like that), the next hours Doges will totally dump.

That's certainly true, mate. But this time is different. If Elon Musk abandons Dogecoin, the project will have a hard time rising from the ground up. Price per coin will go down the drain faster than you could've ever imagined. As far as the core Blockchain goes, I don't think it'll be going anywhere soon. Dogecoin is one of the oldest cryptocurrencies in existence with strong community support. There's a large amount of miners and nodes supporting the network in every way. Price may go down, but the Blockchain will be alive and running as usual. I guess this is what matters above all else. it is definitely we can't see such massive growth of Dogecoin without Elon Musk's shilling but instead to see this coin almost shit/nothing as we know since before. But for now, I'm imagining the draining price of Dogecoin from day to day until it turns back from where it started. I'm not sure if there is someone who could be able to save from a huge decline and I'm not sure if Elon Musks will do the hypes again or if he could still be able to influence the market just like he did before.
