Will Dogecoin survive without Elon Musk?

Little confused why Elon Musk keep silent and never talk about cryptocurrency any more, does he got everything so far in cryptocurrency or any one give him warning never tweet and make any opinion again about cryptocurrency and doge coin exactly. Almost two months Elon Musk never give his opinion and make tweet about doge coin maybe with price still dump or he got much profit before.

a businessman who he knows is profit, however he must earn it. what we know with Elon Musk is a businessman who has been in crypto some time ago and became a big investor in Dogecoin. maybe since dogecoin's rise that surpassed Elon musk has found his advantage and now he's just sitting back enjoying what he's got from Dogecoin.

Memecoins are subject to extreme volatility. For newbie investors this is not good and many of them will want to get out as soon as there is a big crash. The user base has grown a lot thanks to Elon Musk but there is only so much one person can do. We have seen it cool off recently and Elon hasn't tweeted much about it. There is only so much you can say about a coin with a dog's face as it's symbol. Doge is mainly just a pump and dump coin right now. It does not have much utility and isn't great as a store of value. It will go away like a lot of shitcoins if we don't see meaningful development and adoption soon.

Agree. Dogecoin won't last for long without active development and innovation. The hype seems to be coming to an end, so it should only be a matter of time before prices go all the way down the drain. It's not about what a prominent figure like Elon Musk says about Dogecoin, but rather what real use cases it provides in the mainstream world.

Newcomers seem to think that "meme" coins are meant to be successful in the long run, probably because they've seen DOGE go all the way to the moon in an instant. We all know it really doesn't work that way. I'm afraid SHIBA INU and the rest of the other Dogecoin clones will fade into oblivion faster than you could've ever imagined. DOGE might survive without Elon Musk, but it won't have the same luster as it did before. Crypto land behaves in mysterious ways, so anything can happen in the future. Just my thoughts

It is obvious that Elon played a certain role, but he was not alone, Reddit users also contributed to the growth of the coin.

It depends on what you mean by "survive" if you meant that dogecoin would be dead and forgotten then I don't think so, this coin was doing well before Elon intervened and adopted it, but the hype that he gave dogecoin by being it and tweeting about it made it go insanely high so if the reason that made dogecoin get this high goes away then almost everything it did to it will go away too, it will slowly decrease until people forget about it.

Agreed , dogecoin use to be a Gambling money because the cheaper fee this can offer but when Elon Musk step on it, things change and this become a Pump and dump coin.

It's just being careful if you want to hold Dogecoin for a long time. Yes, it could be that Elon Musk just feels less work, so raise something project to be used as self-entertainment only. Have a makeshift, do not focus too much on the project that was originally just for the material of jokes.

Elon Musk is done with Dogecoin, look at the price movement of this coin, it barely moves anymore because he is not hyping it. There's no reason for him to hype Doge cause investors already know they got FOMO and now they are just holding a bag of Doge which in the long run it will just likely burst.

We don't know how much Dogecoin Elon Musk is holding. If he sells a portion of Dogeoin, will the price of Dogecoin be able to stay at its current price? Apart from Elon Musk, there are many investors who are still holding Dogecoin at the moment. I'm not sure they will hold Dogecoin for good. If they sell them all then the price of Dogecoin will drop.

I think Doge coin won't survive without patronage of Elon Musk because fundamentally it is very weak, it has no use case and I hope you remember that its price was few cents before Elon Musk started tweeting about it. It can only survive if its developers team builds it use case, like its wallet, swap or exchange to compete with other coins as well as its marketing team performs well then it can win trust of crypto investors.

As it is now,,, even without doing anything (which in the hype and influencer space is probably even worse than saying something bad about it), DOGE is now 400 satoshi while BTC and alts are pumping. Very poor performance if you think about the last few months.

Dogecoin might survive without Elon Musk, but with lower prices than usual. It might head back to its original price levels as the hype fades away. People will flock to the next big thing in crypto, leaving DOGE in the dust. I wouldn't worry much about Dogecoin, since it's only a "meme" coin. Developers created it as a joke with no real use cases for the mainstream world. The project's been abandoned for quite some time, so we can say Dogecoin is quite obsolete compared with the rest of the other altcoins on the market today.

Ultimately, crypto is all about utility instead of hype. A single person (like Elon Musk) cannot determine a cryptocurrency's level of success. It's the community which makes the coin stronger every day. As long as Dogecoin is useful and has community support, nothing else matters. Just my opinion

Really the price of Doge has been behaving very well, the fact that Elon Musk has not given another tweet in favor of the coin, his bulls have been believing in the coin, so far the price is at 0.23USD, and in the short term The technical indicators according to cointelegraph shows us the following:

Doge has an exclusivity, which shines when nobody expects it, at the moment the price remains green and possibly can continue to rise, if an eventual fall in BTC occurs, Doge may also fall, but it is possible that a good pump will occur , and not by action of Elon Musk but of his own bulls.

Might come out as a joke but the fact it the dogecoin project came up as a joke and any monetary benefit that came with it was not anticipated...was more of a consolation prize.  And Elon Musk joining in to hype the dogecoin project could be that his playing along to keep the joke / the meme king alive but overall with or without Elon musk dogecoin will be there, the crypto ecosystem is bigger than an individual.
