Answering your question number 2, the way I use to profit from crypto is to look at the price of the coin and the state of the market when I will buy. My initial intention is for the profit since my quest for earning online led me to finding crypto and I love the whole concept and idea behind it afterwards,

I will choose 2 options that are option 1 and 2. The first thing is that I really love technology and it makes people modern, convenient and useful in life, the second part is to do make my life easier every time I trade and make a profit. When you are watching the world economy and world news like geopolitics and currencies, you will realize cryptocurrency is the way to go, particularly Bitcoin. The tech is just a superior reason.

The majority will pick both because eventually, the users learn more of the tech behind crypto projects just as we learned NFTs purpose and how interesting other tokens are. And then we become investors of these tokens as well which is reasonable to get profit.

I'm in it for the change. I believe that banks are being overly controlling and profiting too much of the money of people, and fiat is a dangerous financial idea that the state can set the value and print the money, while also slowly imposing the so-called invisible tax of inflation upon people. I would want to see the world where cryptos can be freely used as payment. As for profits, it's more like a nice addition to the whole thing, but it comes at a risk of temporarily being at a loss during the bear market. I try not to focus on this and wait till Bitcoin is money, as it's supposed to be.

The problem that the new project is solving is game improvement, they are starting to develop a lot of things to improve it, so that at some point the game has become a perfect new icon in crypto, by adding tokens to it.
while the pattern of looking for profits from various coins that exist today is quite easy, depending on how we start and prepare, many coins available have good movements in the market, we just need to analyze and choose the best for us to invest.

To be honest the reason why i invested into some crypto projects was mainly because i hoped that i could make some money with my investment. I have to say though that i really like the principles that cryptocurrencies stand for like decentralisation, financial freedom and stuff like that. And even though i joined this space in the hope of some profit i still would not invest into projects like XRP because that is a totally centralized project that is not representing what crypto should stand for, same goes for binance.
My investment does quite ok i would say, i am still in the profit zone at the moment but my portfolio had like 5 times the value a few months ago so i already made some big mistakes.

because crypto work is more practical and very promising on the other hand a lot of the latest knowledge from the outside world, there are lots of new learnings on the technological progress of each country and I think one day crypto will become a reasonable sale for everyday life. that's why the price of BTC or other cryptocurrencies will be high and more reliable.

I think I am with both with 70% on point number 2. I think majority here are also for the 2nd one. Cant really say for some but, I assume that many are prefer profit over a high improvement technology. Yes maybe I am also for the tech but gaining profits is a must or let say, even though I am later  with those tech as long as Im gaining then thats cool already for me. Anyway thats on my part, cant really judge some who are into tech and not thinking the profits beyond some newest projects.

Maybe the reason is that search for profit but after we are in the crypto world, we learn about the technology and while we keep the search for profit, we will get more information about crypto and of course, we will get more profit if we can invest in the right projects. But still, making a profit from bitcoin is why people know crypto and want to make more and more profit. We can generate the coin by buying and hold and sell if the price increases and our portfolio will keep changing following the current market situation.

Firstly I get involved for profit and as times goes on, I felt in love with the amazing technology, currently I generate profit vial buying and selling, most times I buy form ICO,IDO IEO, depending on the project and what they are into, and when I do that, as soon as they hit the market and their is a huge return of investment (ROI) I pull of my fund and profit.

My main reason has always been getting away from banks and fiat. I just never liked fiat before and I never knew that there could be an alternative. Back in the day, I tried to live as cash as possible because I hate banks and now I am trying to do the same thing but in crypto instead. It is just not a good feeling and I am hoping to live one day to see never using fiat and still managing to pay everything with crypto.

If we can reach that life, a life where fiat is optional and not forced, then I would die a happy person. After all crypto is a currency as well, it is not just an investment, if used properly it could become a currency of the world as well.

My original intention in joining crypto was to make a profit and to this day I still prefer profit to learn about technology. But I can't deny that blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies are really amazing compared to traditional industries nowadays. I somewhat Believe in only Bitcoin on the crypto network, I think it's different from majority of coins in the network today that are more or less pump and dump coins, actually, Bitcoin has a use case and that's why when we talk about crypto adoption, it's mainly Bitcoin that comes to mind/is in the picture, for example, look at the adoption of Bitcoin by the country El Salvador, it's cause they understand the use of Bitcoin and the many people that actually want to use it as a currency, you cannot say the same about any other cryptocurrency.

What is most interesting for me about Bitcoin is decentralization, control and freedom is with the users unlike fiat currencies and many centralized digital currencies, with Bitcoin, the users are their own banks and do not have to rely on centralized organizations or the government in issues relating to their funds, that's one very good reason why I'm a Bitcoin user.

I joined cryptos 4 years back when I was broke and had no job. I was financially broken. I started with this forum and start participating in the Airdrops and the bounties sooner I got rewards from the bounties and Airdrops and I start cashing it out. But the year 2019 was a bad year in terms of earnings even I left bounties for 6-8 months but started again. Now I can say from the past 4 years I am earning my livelihood from the bounties and trading but I must say earning in late 2017 was huge which helps me to make a good backup for the coming years.
