Hello I was wondering if I can share information on a crypto project I started and if so what is the correct board?
I tried to share yesterday under alt coin discussion and it got deleted, so I'm not sure if it's because I created my account the same day or what the deal is?

You can add more content to your post and make it here (beginner's & Help), and put a request down for the mods to move it to the appropriate board if here is wrong.
I sometimes see altcoin project announcements in the Project Development board, but not sure if it's the appropriate place to post this.

If you want to introduce your crypto project (which seems to be a token project), then you need to create a proper announcement thread and post it in the Tokens (Altcoins) sub-board.
Try to make the thread more attractive and add as much details about your project as possible.

According to ninjastic.space, you had made the post in Altcoin discussion which is not appropriate for a token/coin announcement.

Altcoin Discussion - "Discussion of cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin. Note that discussion of how these currencies *relate to* Bitcoin may fit in other categories. ". Generic coin discussion threads or discussion about altcoin prices do not belong here.

You should post in Announcements (Altcoins) if it's a coin announcement and in Tokens (Altcoins) if it's a token announcement.
Also, as suggested by khaled0111, I recommend you to post a more detailed announcement.

These boards might be of interest to you:
Announcements (Altcoins) - Altcoin announcements, generic (usually announcement like) coin discussion threads.
Tokens (Altcoins) (child board of Announcements (Altcoins)) - Altcoin token (an altcoin entity / thing that relies on another altcoin's infrastructure to function) announcements, generic (usually announcement like) token discussion threads.
Service Announcements (Altcoins) (child board of Marketplace (Altcoins)) - Announcement of external services that are directly related to or accept altcoins.

You should choose the appropriate board for your project and create a proper ANN post with a description and details about your project, not just a link to an external website. Unless you have a Copper membership, you cannot post pictures as a newbie. Alternatively, you can ask a senior member to post on your behalf.

As suggested above, this must be on the Project Development board which is as I understand, it's under development project and there's no product or service yet.  Follow the suggestion above and post it there.

Altcoin discussion is for general altcoins discussions, if you want to establish correctly your project, follow the correct format of making ANNouncemnet thread in the altcoin section, not on the discussion.

There's no correlation of the deleted topic on your newly created account, however, you can purchase a copper membership to enable some restrictions from a newbie account like can able to post images and wear signatures.

I don't think so. It's more likely an announcement of a new project, which should be posted on the Altcoin Announcement board. @OP, post it in the main board of altcoin announcement if it has a own blockchain or in the token child board under that board if it's built on other blockchain.

I think you're right. The Project Development board is exclusively for Bitcoin related projects, as far as I understand. The OP mentioned that his project is altcoin based.

Probably not. I think project development designed for bitcoin related one. But as I see the OP username which sounds like an altcoin, then most suitable board is altcoin discussion, or altcoin announcement in any case he made a thread on his project. (Obviously lacking content here)

Anyone can share their project here here just go to Altcoin announcement section to post your project information, but also make sure you didn't plan to deceive people here and be transparent on the information you present since if you hide something especially the team information then for sure this will easily find out by veteran forum member. But if you have great ideas to innovate sometimes well that's totally cool so give a shot and be honest here.
