since this innovation is a life-changing technology, it is worth teaching blockchain and cryptocurrency as part of the economics class of everyone. actually, forex trading should have been taught to students back in the days, like the chart reading if the subject is all about investing. it only makes the teacher inexperienced if they don't teach something like this.

No i definitely dont agree with the fact that crypto must the syllabus for the students. it is just an additional burden on them. Yes in higher studies there can be some courses which student can go for.

not for all students but probably the ones interested. but if the school offers blockchain, most probably everyone will be interested.

Crypto generally falls under finance. Let's not directly focus Crypto on students instead, the finance sector as a whole. Students should learn to manage money, invest, and many other sub-categories in the finance sector. And if they added crypto in the syllabus, it wouldn't really make much difference because it won't be taught deeply/intensely as much as they need to understand it properly. They'll just brush it up IMO.

This kind of subject will be more relevant to be included in a finance classes but I guess it would also great if it would fall on the information technology classes too. I mean we all know that we are not just being a financial pro here in cryptocurrency platform but we do must know how to not just as good as tech savvy but at least we know the basic right. In my personal experience if you really not knowledgeable enough about using the technology that surrounds crypto platform it would hard for a person to adopt it easily but somehow this could kind of thing can be learn in a self-learning strategy.

bitcoin is not something new rather its just amalgam of already available technologies and concepts like cryptography, hashing, Finance etc. Almost all such things are already in syllabus at various stages of out studies . If someone want to gain in-depth knowledge of BTC, there is too much material available on YouTube, he can have it from there.

Hello. All. Actually first I come in this space (crypto) in 2017 where btc was $1.8 K to $19K. Right Now Btc is approx $35K.This was really a very interesting exp. for me. Today, i was though t Crypto should be in the Syllabus of students all over the world because there are lots of opportunities in this pace for Young Generations.

What your Opinion for the same?

It should be in syllabus because it's something innovative and important, whereas a big problem of formal education is that it often doesn't keep up with the world, teaching info about something that was new back in the 80s or something. When I worked as a teacher, I told kids about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general when I had an occasion to do so, but it would have been way easier if it was a part of the curriculum. I remember there were news about France adding crypto topics to the school program, and there are some crypto-related coursed offered by universities in many countries. So we'll get there eventually.

I agree with you. Young generations are more exposed to their computers or android smartphones so even if crypto is not directly involve in student's syllabus, it will never be a problem because it will be a one click away online. And its even more conducive for learning because they will see more demos and videos rather than putting them purely on text.

And even if its included in the syllabus, if the government does not allowed it to be used, then it will still be useless in real world. But if you plan to invest in crypto online, in that case it will be very beneficial.

It is not needed for most syllabus, it can be in specific field and subjects where it belongs.
And it is also up to the university if they are going to take crypto seriously because still many don't. Blockchain can be their main priority because of its tech.

Blockchain is certainly a broader thing and of course it requires a special department, now blockchain technology is growing so it is feasible to always make crypto the best choice for students, I believe that one day blockchain will be used in various global transactions.

I slightly disagree that crypto is included in the student syllabus, because basically students must learn the basic concepts of education and not the container if crypto must be included in the student syllabus. but at the university level it is important for them to learn and understand about crypto, blockchain and others because they have entered their realm to become agents of change in the economic sector in the future.

Depending on the education system any country there should be a complete book for the students to firstly know about the economy in any branch they study because they do need to learn about how to invest and how to manage their hard-handed money, the next step would be teaching students about cryptocurrencies and the benefits they can get from crypto bitcoin can be also a syllabus for students in that book to learn about it, unfortunately, even after many people know about bitcoin but many people don't actually know bitcoin and teaching the students can be one great step forward for it.

I think it's good if you study crypto specifically about bitcoin, but it's included in the syllabus I think it's too much.
maybe it would be better if it was in the course or for example into the curriculum that is in the school curriculum, but to enter the syllabus I think this is still not suitable because with rejections circulating in various countries and there are still many people who don't want to accept it. bitcoin would be very redundant for bitcoin to be made into a syllabus and required for school.

My bad.
You are totally correct but are on the same boat because what I was trying to say is that there should be an educational course for crypto and blockchain at the University level.

I dont think their is anything bad if their is cryptocurrency is study as a course in the university, the way world is diverting into cryptocurrency there should be a way inwhich people will be enlighten more about cryptocurrency and how it work's.

This is a great idea and  student who take some courses about crypto trading analysis has a great future for sure. Blockchain system is invented about 10years ago . Already become popular in may countries . Even blockchain development courses today will make a candidate stand on his firm foot tomorrow.

Very soon, maybe we will hear or see on the news channel that covers El Salvador news. It is also the first time in history that El Salvador has included bitcoin as a subject in their schools, colleges, and universities. Also, bitcoin, crypto, and blockchain technology are all mandatory subjects for all students. And for these changes, El Salvador's government says they want their country's children introduced to the world's most advanced technology faster than other countries and to be self-reliant very quickly.

You know the saddest part? That the news channel didn’t mention that if El Salvador can take this type of action, then why can't our country?

If you are teaching the young generation about the technical aspect of BTCitcoin and its economics i am all for it but when you talk about just the valuation aspect of it then it is a different story altogether. If there should be a syllabus then they should start a new one aspect of economics by teaching everyone about decentralized currency and free trade without boundaries.

I am feeling El Salvador's authorities doing this all very quickly which is not good for them right now they need to settle things around which are causing serious trouble. About crypto subject in syllabus its good idea because now we have some very good features and things just because of this like Blockchain and many more if some countries able to adopt this surely It's going to help and boost economy which can change fortune for millions we already have many countries trying to use this all for transparency and speedy working.

El Salvador is writing good things for history as they are first to adopt officially, and now they are first to have subject in schools and institutes for better future of new generation.

Will learning about bitcoin make them any smarter and help them in real-life scenarios that they may encounter in the future? Or will it just be another piece of garbage knowledge that would have little to no value for their future endeavors? Students right now are the most stressed every student has been, part of it is because of outdated information and useless syllabi that have little to no real-life applications. I would love to have it be included in an economics-related subject but thinking back in the days when I was still studying, I figured this would be a case of "the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell" type of knowledge.
This is a great idea and  student who take some courses about crypto trading analysis has a great future for sure. Blockchain system is invented about 10years ago . Already become popular in may countries . Even blockchain development courses today will make a candidate stand on his firm foot tomorrow.
Blockchain Technology could be studied in schools and be taught to students who have a programming-related course, otherwise I don't think anything that involves bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general that does not concern the economics, and the technology behind it will be useful for these students. So if any educational institution were to ever include cryptocurrencies in a subject, it better be for something that is relevant and important.

I consider it a difficult process to list cryptocurrencies in a student's curriculum.  First of all, there is a need for legal approval from the government of that country, regulations will be discussed and supplemented or adjusted from the ministry of education and training.  Not to mention, does the teacher understand the technique of bitcoin?  Who is qualified to evaluate this proposal?  If you are looking for self-study and research materials for your own passion, please refer below https://learnbitcoin.link/

Only people that are naive about the concept of Cryptocurrency and the potential of Blockchain will think it shouldn't be added to student syllabus because it introduced the future of payment system, currency, and technology.
The last time I checked blockchain can be used by many business settings and this is why we see some schools in the US and UK that have already added blockchain/crypto teaching to their study.

My bad.
You are totally correct but are on the same boat because what I was trying to say is that there should be an educational course for crypto and blockchain at the University level.

It would help to achieve deeper knowledge about this industry, student with an early knowledge about crypto will focus on everything that they know they will be compensated. Give students deep education about opportunities and for sure interest will climb. The blockchain system is too big to explore. With fresh mindsets, they will be able to find their own venues for benefiting from this system.

I agree from both of you, preparing them with more in-depth knowledge will keep them to explore and have to find all the possible ways to succeed, it will change a life directions for sure, so pursuing this kind of information should also be looked upon.

In my opinion, I think adding crypto to students' syllabus would only add to the student's migraine. Either way, it should be taught in a more professional way after college for anyone who wishes.

And whatever they learned, they can always share it to others who are still skeptical with this new technology. Because the more knowledgeable a person is, the more he will understand about the true benefits of crypto as well as blockchain technology. And that, he can freely share to others. Because it is the knowledge that will eradicate the negative perception on crypto. It is not all about scam, hacking, or exit strategies here. It is not because of crypto that occurred these situations, but the people themselves who are taking advantage of the gullible users.
