Scam Alert for Bounty Hunters in This Forum

What Happened: Crypto Scammers are now targeting bounty hunters of this forum in tricky way.I share my bounty tasks in Facebook regularly but recent a fake account which name Crypto .com shared my profile picture.In Discription Scammer wrote that he is offering ×3 return of Bitcoin and asked to inbox him.

This is probably one of the most used (not very successful)  scam methodes in history,It's not that uncommon to receive these kind of offers my inbox is full of them.

OP, could you please resize your pic?  You can do that by modifying the code for the image with "img width=500" or something similar.  I'm looking at what you posted on a desktop computer, and I have to lean back in my chair to take everything in.

I don't use Facebook, so I'm not familiar with how scams go down there.  What exactly is this guy looking for?  What's that heart icon that he wants you to drop in his inbox?  Those questions probably sound idiotic, but believe me, for someone who doesn't use FB they sound odd.

Actually A Fake Facebook page of Crypto.com shared my profile pic and offered 3× return. Because I iftenly do Facebook tasks on Bounty Projects.

Thats why I shared so that bounty hunters can realize how scammers are trying to scam.

Thanks a lot for your Advice.Besically Scammers are inventing new tricks day by day and they target newcomers oftenly.

So there is no way to have knowledge about scammers and must secure our accounts.

This is a fake page, Facebook doesn't have any policy against impersonators but they can still be reported, although they will only comeback much worse that ever because they are persistent in terms wanting to scam people. And you won't bother with the accounts that promote them because they're all bots.

It is so easy to create these type of pages, take just a few seconds to copy the pics and information from the original site and Voila! you have your own impersonation page.

A word of advice to anyone reading this : please stop following social media cryptocurrency pages and so - you will likely come across these types of scams if you do. Keep your social media to personal use only - dont show interest in crypto in those. Use a separate account if you need to.

And remember that money is never created out of thin air - if someone tells you that they can give returns that are way over a bank's interest rate, there is a 100% chance that the person is lying and is going to steal your money.

They are not moderating impersonation unless they are reported so if you are active on Facebook be sure to double-check who or what you are following, only follow social pages where the links come from their official websites, don't go for the name alone.
Facebook like telegram is the favorite hub of scammers, because of the easy manipulation of the page description.

That's a bit problematic but they were able to moderate the gruesome videos posted in their platform manually, that's just deplorable because this can be solved easily especially if people are vigilant in platforms and the people who moderate knows how to do some research. Good thing I have the rule that I won't follow any page in Facebook, probably saved me tons of heart aches.

Resizing the image by adding some code sometime makes the image a little blurry, I would also suggest the OP to use a size larger than 200 so that the user can clearly read the text on the image if any.

Nothing comes as free this time, even the bounty hunters today will have to engage in difficult tasks to earn tokens and in the end, the tokens aren't going to be listed in an exchange. So if you find yourself about to get rewards from crypto companies without doing anything in this case facebook crypto.com page, be suspicious about it.

Always have some doubts about emails particularly Binance email making you verify your account even when you know you have verified it years ago.

They use the names of different big companies and use the names of different popular people to attract people. Since he has used your picture, you report to Facebook and try to block this account. Now that such activities have increased a lot on Facebook, they are taking the help of Facebook ads to promote various fake websites which is very risky for newcomers.

So scammer posting with your profile on their page that you won bonus? It's ridiculous though I have seen this scam attempt for the first time LOL. Scammers are always looking for new scam technics. Posting on is Facebook page means nothing. Just avoid to reply them, it will not hurt you posting on their Facebook page. Thousands of users doing bounty campaigns and it's quite easier to find out who are cryptocurrency users from the bounty spreadsheet. Just keep in mind, nothing is free in the world and there is no such money-making machine that would multiply your money within minutes.

Unfortunately not everyone is willing to listen to the people who warned them since mostly if they already have investment on the scam platform and warned them to not put more money on it since its a scam they will not take your advice and give's a bad impression that you are jealous to them since they are earning at that moment that's why sometimes experience will really be the best teacher for them to learn since for sure they will realize that you are right about what you told to them.

But for those people who didn't invest yet its really good to warn them but hopefully they will listen and not to be greedy on what they offer to them especially about huge return of profits from their investment.

It may look real but imitation is very rampant here in the Crypto space you can only avoid this if you are good at doing research, it's simple and easy to do that all you have to do is to check if the page is the official page of the site that's offering you the rewards, it's always on the legitimacy of the offer do not be too greedy to jump to the offer do your research first, it will only take a few minutes to do that.

If people spend a little time exposing such scams then the number of such scam websites will be greatly reduced. Because scammers are constantly trying to change old tactics and use new ones. Now crypto users have become much more cautious than before, which is why they try to expose only when they see such activities. Maybe in the coming days we will get more members who will expose such scams more quickly.
