We all have thought really that it's going to be Inoue and Casimero as it came from him personally and then, here goes the sudden announcement and order from WBO.
It's possible that it's his team that has told him to remain quiet and just focuses on training. And when the match is going to be near like 2 or 1 week before it starts, they'll do the marketing through him and will do the talks. Maybe not actual trash talks but some insults I guess.
I think casimero's approach already changed because from trash talker it seems like he already keep His silence for long now.
though this maybe another strategy and His mouth will start trashing again when the fight is near to happen.
but whatever he does? still the fight will be awaited as this will Lead Casimero to finally fight Inoue in which His dream fight for long now, after His fellow Filipino Boxer Fails winning against this Japanese monster fighter.
Yup, there's the issue that has started and still he's in silence but that's okay. There's a lot of meaning for silence and he really doesn't have to address that.
I think, this makes him better if he just focus on his training and no need for any trash talk or any kind of talk that will hype his match. Butler has to be finished first so he can proceed to his next matchup.

if this will be another upset and butler will win. i guess, all the long discussions here about casimero will stop for a while. a lot has been waiting for his next match so hopefully he will not disappoint his fans here. he is learning his lesson so maybe the reason why he is limiting his trash talks now.
this upcoming fight will be the determining factor if he can pursue inoue here. so should not be taken lightly by his camp.

Everyone around him maybe calls on Casimero to shut his mouth for now. It's a serious matter where he has a medical problem but keeps on trash-talking or saying arrogant things to the public.

Casimero's behavior won't just be changed quickly if there's no pressure from people around him.

Maybe someone said, "Pre, saka na tayo mag-trashtalk kay Inoue pag nabugbog mo na si Butler" (Let's refrain from doing trash-talk for now until you hardly beaten Paul Butler). What do you think? Cheesy

Does he really changed up his behavior? Maybe.. its true that i havent recently seeing that he do make out some trashtalks to provoke whether on his upcoming opponent or neither Inoue.

He might have been thinking that it would be better to stay silent and win the fight on at least making Inoue to be interested once again because as we have heard or read in the past

that Inoue got pissed with those Casimero trashtalks which might be the reason that he would lost up some interest on fighting him.

We can assume that he was just told not to do so or might be, he thinks that if only he's not like that, there will be no problem that happened last December where he failed to show up in the weigh-in because of his viral condition.

Anyhow, trash talk or hitting the opponent with some offensive words is not really necessary.

They can do the talking on the ring, not in exchange of words in the public.

Yeah, maybe someone is the background is advising Casimero to tone down a bit because it doesn't make sense at all to trash talk the likes of Inoue and Donaire. The fight will happen sooner or later. And he should learn from his fellow Filipino, the legendary Manny Pacquiao, who chooses to do the talking inside the ring and not being so arrogant outside and talking trash to his opponent.

But on the other hand isn't that Garcia's own wish if I'm not mistaken and indeed in this case it might be a little different because Inoue did this more than once which made some people start to not believe it.
I personally also more believe that this is one they made to push something new. This will inevitably happen but the time is that we are still confused about this.
There is a lot of rumors that a Ryan Garcia VS Naoya Inoue will take place, but it is already in the news that a John Riel Casimero VS Naoya Inoue will also take place, I see there are a lot of boxers that are eyeing the young Naoya Inoue, I don't know why, but there are certain people that keep pushing it Ryan Garcia has 21 Fights and 21 Wins and Naoya Inoue has 22 Fights and 22 Wins, both are undefeated, this is also another exciting fight to watch, but I prefer to see a Casimero VS Inoue fight first.
Isn't Ryan Garcia going to fight Tagoe now and when this happens then indeed to fight Inoue even if it can happen but now it still takes time for that.
On the other hand, I personally see that this is not just age because they are currently still undefeated which makes them always have to be fought in addition to their profits (promoters and gambling houses) this will actually be quite good for the fighters themselves even though the impact is indeed risk of defeat and the opponent is getting stronger.
Well this seems to be the final round depending on whether Inoue will accept or dodge back

Yes  in the past events , Casimero completely throwing Bad words against His opponents but its really changing his behavior now.

Well in the past trash talking is affecting the opponents behavior in the fight in which makes them angry and not  focusing in the strategy but instead wanted to knock down the opponent ASAP.

Well this is what will happen now as both are in silent mode.

I'm curious here too as I don't see any rumors circulating that Naoya Inoue and Ryan Garcia will clash.

It's not with the records but it's a risky move for Inoue to step up on his current weight class then meet Ryan Garcia right away. Not time yet for them to faced each other. Ryan Garcia already used on fighting at LightWeight division and Naoya is just starting yet to feel the LightWeight once he moves up.

I also don't see in a news that there will be Casimero vs Inoue soon. Let's wait for the result of this fight first.

Everyone around him maybe calls on Casimero to shut his mouth for now. It's a serious matter where he has a medical problem but keeps on trash-talking or saying arrogant things to the public.

Maybe someone around Casimero doesn't want to see him getting knock out by Butler, karma is a bitch.

Cheesy

It's a good advise though, humility, he knows that he come from nothing, so he doesn't need to be very brandish like Floyd. Just do the usual, train 100%, beat your opponent and knock him out, go home with your family and rest and look for your next fight.

That's his style, you cannot change him to be a different person, besides, as a boxer Casimero is successful that's why he is the current champion. Outside the ring or boxing, he could be different, so there's no need for us to judge his personality, and about the case, it's not proven yet so we cannot make a conclusion, and even if he is guilty, who are we to judge a person, as if we have no sins.

Either you hate him or you love him, but as for me, every time Casimero has a fight, I always make sure I will put my bet on him whether he is the favorite or the underdog. Personally, I don't look at his attitude, what I look at most is his boxing skills and I'm pretty impressed because he is not afraid to fight anyone, instead, he challenges the best in his division like Inoue and Donaire.

He is not afraid and very aggressive to bring the fight against those two known title holders.

Casimero, talent wise, he has that quality of being a champ. He's really doing his best once he steps inside the ring.
It's wise to place your money in him but since he's the favorite, the line will be lesser.

We just have to wait for this fight, then look forward to another big fight once he wins and takes down Butler.

The fighting spirit is there and a strong-minded will overflow at him. he will not afraid of anyone in his division and I think it's better to put our bet on him.
Casimero is a good and strong fighter that can burst anyone and that's I like him not because we are both Filipinos but in his fighting skills and techniques.  Every solid punch he received from his opponent makes him strong and striking back with an iron fist to kick Them out.

Does he really changed up his behavior? Maybe.. its true that i havent recently seeing that he do make out some trashtalks to provoke whether on his upcoming opponent or neither Inoue.

Agree on this one and as a boxing fan too then i do much prefer on a fighter which is really that humble  and doesnt really talk too much on how he would able to beat his opponent.
Let your fists do the talking and that would be looking much more better rather than opening up your mouth and trying to declare that you are already the winner even on pre-fight.
For sure there were people behind who do gave out some advices on making this behavior to be toned down so that it wouldnt create soo much hate.

if this will be another upset and butler will win. i guess, all the long discussions here about casimero will stop for a while. a lot has been waiting for his next match so hopefully he will not disappoint his fans here. he is learning his lesson so maybe the reason why he is limiting his trash talks now.
this upcoming fight will be the determining factor if he can pursue inoue here. so should not be taken lightly by his camp.
That's for sure and we're just going to move on and wait on who's going to be his next rival. We're all hoping that he wins this match so that the most awaited match for him will come out.
But it's also possible that there could be an upset on the decision, let's assume he had won already and now in the talks for his match. A big chance that it won't be what we've been counting and waiting for and it's for another fighter again.
Also, Inoue could decline the match which is really possible but we're all positive that he won't.

Cheesy
That's true that it could be the people surrounding him that has instructed him to just shut his mouth and focus on what he has to focus and avoid making conflicts through words.

The possible undercard for this match will involve these boxers;

a) Former super WBA Middleweight Champion Rocky Fielding
b) The rising stars of Liverpool-born brothers Peter and Joe McGrail,
c) Will Cawley (Flyweight)
d) Luke McCormack (Light-welterweight)

I can't find the source for the official undercard list but at least we are aware of who will join the big night of these fight between Casimero and Butler.

In fairness with Casimero even if he's annoying due to his bad mouth or trash talking to his opponent he prove that he is not a loud mouth only but he can also dominate in the ring. But I guess this is just part of the tactic so that he will be known in the industry and can able to get the heads of more stronger opponent and he's actually successful with his current strategy.

Outside boxing, Casimero is said to be a good person in real life. And you can also see that based on his vlogs. But maybe, as you said, it maybe his strategy to attract interest from the boxing community as he is making name in boxing. Got curious also on him because of the trash talks like the one when he threw some words to Inoue. So yeah, his strategy is working but hopefully, we will see that inside the ring when he fight with Butler.

^^ It's just vlogs though, we really don't know in real life who John Riel Casimero is. Of course, everyone will not show their bad side, specially to their followers.

Anyhow, it's very obvious that the locals are going to show their talent in the under card, they are all promising and young fighters like the McGrail brothers and former Olympian Luke McCormack.

That is the case before that Inoue will likely face Garcia soon but the idea about that fight have changed and didn't materialized as their promoters have other plans for their boxers or have found another deal. Maybe soon we can see Garcia and Inoue in the ring but I also think it's too early for now for the both boxers.

For now, the latest news is:
Casimero vs Inoue - both sides haven't come and agreed about this arrangement yet but the chances are high that Casimero will face Inoue after he can defeat Butler.
Garcia vs Kambosos Jr. - Not yet announced but Oscar De La Hoya came up a deal that his boy Garcia will fight Kambosos Jr. soon if Garcia will succeed in defeating Emmanuel Tagoe.
