Which one better long term or short term, I think many bad news every day do you see still good for long term, why not use short term and take profit every time when bad news for buy back and selling after raise up. We can't hold and wait price up until many bad news make almost every month, best way is short term.

I also prefer short term trading.  I don't have the patience to hold the coin year after year. We also don't know what will happen to the crypto market after 6 months or a year. So it is better to take profit now without relying on uncertainty.

I prefer long term trading trading instead of shirt term because even if the value of the coin falls at a given period of time,there is every tendency and possibility that it will rise again and be so valuable.
But most times when we loose money,we loose it because we are inpatient and want to collect profit as fast as we can.

I agree that this is not the right time to invest in bitcoin or ethereum or those potential altcoins because their prices are still expensive at this moment. Even if you have sufficient funds, i would still suggest to wait for its prices to drop so that if their prices increase again, then you will yield bigger profits. And when you start to invest, diversify them so that if you'll lose in one coin, you will still have chances to yield profits on the other coin. But maybe put a bigger amount on bitcoin as it can give you better profits compared to the other coins.

Although we can't say when is the perfect time to buy Bitcoin or altcoins but as long as we are ready to accept the risk accompanied by this, that seems fine. Holding is the winner and most longer time hold coin will give much profit later for holder, but I am not really holder coin because when price up few percent my hand quickly to sell it but always become holder more than one or two years if my coin dump. Personally, I think it is something that will have to do with the coins that you are selecting for this your investment.
