Last week police poured vast resources into the search for Gaby Petito, a very attractive girl who was on a stress test vacation with her boyfriend.

Despite it not really being a case of an abusive man controlling a victim woman, by most accounts, lots and lots of police, fbi and other badged bureaucrats got involved. When the boyfriend went missing, a vast number of cops combed through forests to find him so they could quiz him about his pretty girlfriend.

Missing Asians can get attention if they have money.

Missing indigenous women are a media issue for some people, but are typically ignored unless a celebrity or powerful group forces interest.

Missing black people, uhm, police don't do that kind of search unless heavy celebrity clout is involved.

Should they?
