This user has been spamming this thread in multiple section and using different accounts (under the name Pegas with slightly different variation). Any action for this? [Reported to moderators]

All brand new accounts, almost same registration date and time stamps.

Kindly use the "report to moderator" button on the left side of the post to make moderators aware of this, nothing else we, individual users can do against this.

Definitely an alt army! Rainbowkun army of alt account was a big one. Account farming is a way to cheat and monetize the forum. How many of the accounts are in signature campaign and bounty? DT can neutral tag the accounts

anyway, here, I listed the accounts that posted the thread so they can be easily reported. I think these accounts should be nuked. it's clear that their only purpose is to spam their "project" without regard to the forum rules. one of the accounts even bought a copper membership(its probably their main account)

Not worth the effort. These are newbie accounts, reporting to mods is very quick and mods tend to nuke them, which is far more effective than tagging.

Rainbowkun and his alts weren't spamming like this Pegasus idiot is doing.  That alt ring actually made some decent posts, at least the ones that weren't plagiarized.  The current spammer is doing exactly that--spamming the same thing over and over.

There's no need for anyone to tag these accounts, since they're probably just throwaways which the person who owns them will likely never use again after they're banned (which I assume they will be).  And this isn't the first--or even the 10th--time this has happened.  I remember a few years ago there were a number of spammers who would constantly post advertisements for male-enhancement products and some that just posted gibberish.  Why they pick this forum is beyond me.  Probably because of the traffic.

I remember a few years ago there were a number of spammers who would constantly post advertisements for male-enhancement products and some that just posted gibberish.  Why they pick this forum is beyond me.  Probably because of the traffic.

You'd be surprised. I used to have a forum that was established for a short while which didn't have the sheer amount of traffic. Yet even with CAPTCHA, the spam was just incessant. I've to nuke accounts and wipe posts almost daily because those buggers somewhat know how to trawl every nook and cranny of the web.

So on Bitcointalk, totally expected.

I've got over 50 reports on that same spammy thread(s) in 3 hours (and I've been gone, not online all the time).

PS: Shouldn't Mindless Electron take care of those as soon as they appear? I've been gone for some months, but it used to work that way

Beats me. All that I know is that once the mods are in action after receiving the reports, they would be on the lookout.

During one time when those malspam bots were actively posting in a few threads, they beat me to it after I started mass-reporting

That so-called-main account have posted a social media bounty and is offering 200 BNB in the bounty pool. Poor Bounty hunters are joining this only to get scammed in the end.

Exposure. Just like forum and email spams, the spammers don't bother how they advertise, the results (leads/ visitors) are what matters.

Maybe hoping that Google will grab that shit and hold on to it long enough to get some hits. If they managed to farm those newbie accounts without the evil fee, and use a bot to spam (most likely) - that's basically free advertising so the effectiveness doesn't need to be very high.

It may be free in terms of money but they don't value the time spend in making those accounts etc and the doing a waste exercise of advertisement which won't bring much hits and even if it does, they won't be permanent and this exercise need to be repeat again n again.

Better if they could spend this time in gaining few but organic views which may be long lasting, but who teaches them.
