Hi I've got 2 miners

1166 pro with 72 TH with firmware: 21071301\_4ec6bb0\_f6df907

1166 pro with 78 TH with firmware: 21042001\_4ec6bb0\_61407fa

Can anyone tell me how to understand their firmware dates/codes and check against their webpage to confirm if they are running the latest firmware. There is literally nothing on the internet about this.
The files listed make no sense on their webpage without the understanding of their file names.

Also from videos I’ve watch it suggest you need to use their software to do? Can’t it be done directly on the miner?

Thanks

I don't know if this will explain the Avalon date but base on what I understand on the first digit "21071301" the date is the year 2021 July 13 the 01 I don't know what it means on the last digit.
The rest I don't know them and the latest firmware from Canaan is Dec 2020  so it means your miner might have the latest firmware that is not listed yet on the Canaan download page.
