No heavy restrictions yet in my city but they're planning already to do that kind of thing and that's the right way to make sure that everyone gets vaccinated, those unwilling won't get isolated and at the same time will not cause mutation in infection because they're a carrier of the virus. Big casinos here in our country only requires temperature check, face mask, and face shield for their guests. They only require vaccination cards only when guests are entering dining areas.

In accordance with government guidelines, our restaurants are open to serve fully vaccinated diners. We encourage guests to make a prior reservation and prepare proof of vaccination which will need to be presented upon arrival at any of our dining outlets.

I think its because the Senate here rejected the bill that requires for a mandatory vaccination against the virus.

I went last Friday to a landbase casino here, and there was no demand for a vax card in front. Although I brought my vax card with me in case they demand it. Because several shops and restaurant now are open and you can eat and dine-in, but on prerequisite is that you need to have been fully vaccinated. The question is, are you vaccinated or not? If you are fully vaccinated then you need to bring your card anymore because that's more on a identification in today's normal.

I feel bad about you mate but as what you have said you have no other option but to turn back since it is the protocol of the casino house. I haven't been in a casino house for a quite long time now because I am not yet fully vaccinated which I also don't know if those casino houses here in my country did allowed gamblers which are not yet vaccinated too to gamble. We don't have yet here, casinos still closed but I think that rule in your city is really good since casino is a gathering space of gamblers and if you don't have vaccine or any of the players is sick it can easily spread the virus. Actually some establishments and malls implemented this so it's no surprised if they do it too in casino.

I expect this to happen more and more often. Afaik the governments are not really allowed to do this (discrimination cannot be in the law), but they kinda encourage businesses implement it "for their own safety".
I personally had to show the vaccination card only at the border, but I know that it was at least one festival you could enter only with proof you are vaccinated, had the illness in the last 6 months or you have a (very) fresh negative test result.

It's nothing to be embarassed really, it's just the harsh reality I suppose. I'd reckon your country has some pretty bad situation with regards to the pandemic right now, hence why they're trying to put out such priorities, even at the cost of having reduced business income on top of their already reduced ones because of the limitations that the pandemic has caused. It does feel bad ngl, I mean, anyone would probably feel bad if they got denied entry in an establishment, but hey, at least it's an incentive for you to get vaccinated (or remember your vaccine card when going out)

It is reasonable for health reason, if you were in the government position and you have very bad situation during the pandemic , you'll do the same thing. It applies in most places in some countries where people need to show or to prove that they are vaccinted already before entering a "closed" Plubic places where the air circulation is not good enough.

Vaccination card ain't that strict and mandatory when entering establishments as long as you have sufficient body temperature and follow safety protocols. Though there are private establishments that requires vaccination card for their own safety as well, but time will come when vaccination card is mandatory.

this will be like the new normal soon in some establishments. it is like discrimination for those who are not yet vaccinated. there are some supermarkets that ive visited that they are offering some promos for those vaccinated but they haven't denied entry yet. now, for casinos where i am currently residing, i haven't heard such news about non acceptance of unvaccinated people. but am seeing that they will have some bonus programs for those vaccinated people. i guess, we need to accept this fact very soon. they just want to feel safe in this crisis.

I really think you don't have to feel embarrassed when you don't have a vaccination card yet, and I think there are just a few establishments in my country that are using this kind of method, and I am OK with it, even though I am not fully vaccinated yet, I will just bet on online ones rather than giving a try in the casino's and this is just a safety countermeasure aside from the Face mask, face shield and social distancing this is another line of protection for the players and they are surely encouraging their players to take vaccination first before playing in their house, I think this is a good thing to do for now just to be safe.

I think you do not have to go to that casino if they do not allow people who are not yet vaccinated to enter their casino. I do not think you will be embarrassed as maybe you are still waiting to get a vaccination so you can not show the Covid-19 vaccine card to them or you do not want to be vaccinated. I already saw many established already requirement that you have to show them that you have the card before they will allow you to enter.

But as far as casino, in my experienced, they didn't ask me anything, they just do the usual routine, body temperature check and that's it, although I'm already fully vaccinated.
