Canaan 1166 pro

I  recently bought a handful of Canaans, so I would like to preface by saying if anyone has any questions on how they perform in comparison to other ASICS I would be happy to help where I can.

One of my units (1166 pro 81 th/s) ran well for 1 week, and now is powering down after a minute or so. SYSTEMSTATUWork: Out Over Hot, Hash Board: 3

This is throwing me off because the room temperature is 16c. And the log is not showing that the miner is actually overheating. And obv. none of the other Canaans in the room are overheating.

Can you try to switch from performance mode to normal mode you can find it under pool configuration then advanced>work mode.
And then run it for 30min to 1hr.

Then update here if it will run normally. If not, check your miner firmware version if it's currently running at old or latest firmware.
If not, try to upgrade it first to the latest firmware you can download it here https://download.canaan-creative.com/

It ran for about 10 minutes on normal mode.

Tried to upgrade the firmware a couple of times and just get "upgrade faild."
Using fms it says "software mismatch".



Any idea whats going on there?

UPDATE

Original "Out Over Hot" error was due to out of date firmware.

The firmware listed on the official website is not valid (at this time), I was able to get non-faulty firmware directly from Canaan support.

All systems good for now BTC

That's good actually no other error can be found from your logs the status you see is abnormal and bootby code is related to " Network backstage restart" which is abnormal if you see the system status "over hot".

I would suggest you also read the manual under this https://canaan.io/service/447 and read about log description and you will understand the whole logs.
