I buyd 3060 ti and i am at total loss

i am a full newbie in bitcoin knowledge and experience but have buyd new 3060ti and new good PSU and i am receiving only 1.80 USD per day mining etherium.

What could be the reason ? i am mining at nanopool and am using old DDR2 machine.

If i want to earn more money from etherium not only from mining what readings would you recommend me ?

Most likely your expectations are too high.

But it's also possible you're not getting the full potential from the 3060ti due to LHR.

to the newbie the older 3060ti are full speed miners at 56-61mh or 3.00-3.60 usd a day

the new 3060 ti are lhr they are not full speed and you make less cash.

there is a software that unlocks them to 70% that would be 2.10 to 2.60 a day

DDR2? I had a few rigs that used memory that old before. What I learnt was this. If your GPU actually posts then all is well and you will have pretty much the same speeds as any newer motherboard, cpu, memory, etc.

I had some GPUs that for some reason wouldn’t post on boot up and no matter what I did they wouldn’t work with that rig. Generally the older the GPU the higher chance it would work. The newer the lower chance it would work. However since yours is actually starting then it’s not a RAM speed issue.

Like the above poster said, you probably got an LHR GPU and it’s speed is capped. That’s why you only earned this much. Or could be variance due to luck or stales. See how much you will make the day after.

Make sure you have the correct settings as by not having them and leaving it default,this card defaults to near 50 Mhsh,the DDR2 machine in theory should not limit further your hash rate but when I tried Rx 6800 Xt card on an old PC with DDR3 ram,first core i3 generation max it could do it was 57 Mhs while it can do in my boards 64 Mhsh,so maybe this DDR2 is another caveat that limits you further.

If it is LHR then you have to use the NBminer (they have a thread in this very section) and they have unlocked it to 70% which should do max 42 Mhsh from 30 Mhsh that is the default LHR.The earnings should just be just a little over 2 or near 2 USD per day in Ethereum if you get max unlock power of 70% of the LHR from NBminer.

You should provide more details, like what exact model you are using, confirm if its LHR or not non-LHR. What are your settings for mining ie. memory clock etc. , power limit..

It sounds like your card (3060ti) is a LHR version so it's certain you will get less USD per day but there is also a way around this

1. You can mine other algorithms instead of Ethereum
2. You can use NB miner 39.4v to boost your hashrate on ETH

You can convert any coin that's on exchanges to any stable coins or Fiat you like and yes Conflux is not a new altcoin it's becoming well embraced by crypto space, why not just do your own research ? You will find all the answers you seek

What country are you mining in?

It matters as some countries have a shit ton crazy set of rules about mining and or having wallets.

it`s successful. from 25 mhs it goes to 35.
