PAYT, bounty scam.

I am here to confirm that payaccept team never paid any bounty to any participants. The BM from this forum posted about it and the admin of Payt managed to cover up his lies.

Finally, they allocated new BM for whole bounty operation. They promised to distribute rewards long ago. But No response from the team.
Their telegram bounty group is paused. They dont allow any bounty participants to post into their official channel.
Admin never give any response to any queries. Few days ago, we tried to make contact. One of their representatives said that legit bounty participants were get paid. It is a lie. They finalized the google sheet and the sheet is no more accessible. Spread the news so everyone can see the devil faces underneath the Payt team.

I participated in that PayAccept bounty. Wasted my bloody time and energy on those scammers. Nothing was forthcoming. Oh yes, talking to their team is useless, they would tell you to have patience(that is if they reply to your message)
The truth is there are many scam projects that didn't pay or scammed their bounty hunters. From StudentCoin to DigitalBits to PayAccept etc. And more would come since others are getting away with it

So many projects do not pay their bounty, as there see that there is nothing bounty hunters can do. I don’t normally take part in bounties, as it is a total waste of time and effort. I will advise if you don’t get paid for bounty, just move on, after all, most of the bounties always end as cheap coins that just occupy space in your portfolio.

That's one of the risks of bounty hunters even if you have a reputable manager managing the campaign, they will find a way to scam bounty hunters, I'm also a victim of scam bounty in the past, these bad actors should be posted in the scam section so investors will be made aware of their character if they scam their marketers they will do the same to their investors.

Probably a scam project?
Well, honestly a lot of bounty projects didn't pay in time and they usually change the terms of their playing once the bounty campaign ended, this has been the problem for over a years now. Even if they hire a new BM, if they don't want to pay at all then its useless. Anyway, you can't do anything about it anymore but to wait for the reward and hopefully everyone who works on this project will  get their reward because they really deserve it.

I have feeling that if this is a scam bounty from the start, the payt CEO was a scammer and that guy full with BS. he was replacing the old bounty manager with a new one caused by he can't manipulate the payment to the hunters if they were still using the service of old bounty managers. I'm not feeling surprised about this as it's clearly stated that if payt team was also nextexchange team which was creating scam project called nextexchange as well.
They have no intention to pay the hunters from the start of bounty and they just wanna get free advertisement and raised 1 millions USD of money from the investors.

At least it will expose this project and the people behind. And for the bounty hunters, maybe next time do check out the project itself, do your due diligence, just saying as  there are a lot of projects that are scammy from the beginning.

Most bounties are a waste of time now a days. It is better to find a day job and earn a decent amount. There was a time when by participating in bounties you would earn more than your monthly take home. Thanks for warning. Actually, it is really difficult now to judge if it is a reliable and worthy project or it is one more scam. Usually, I try to do research based on my previous experience. I check our a web-site, some documents, team-members, how many other participants and partners. Also I try to allocate my effort, it means not to focus only on one type of earning money.

Payt team was always delaying the payment anytime. It seems like the old bounty manager was the right person at that time. The payt team was accusing its old manager to did shady things to the old spreadsheet.
The team was also recalculating the sheet again to make the hunters were forget about this. This shady trick used by the team to fool the hunters. The team was always banning any bounty questions on its telegram group.
They were only liar and investors were also being fooled by them all. They keep creating shit project to raise fresh money and then run away with it. His face must be tagged as a scammers. Any projects that was connected with pay accept team was a scam.

I've had a lot of problems with this project, it's really a damn product of greedy and clever people.
If you have heard about its IEO on exmarkets, and information about the CEO using investor money to spend for personal purposes.
As for its bounty, I don't know too much, but condolences to everyone who joined and contributed to this damn project.

I suggest you move this thread to "Scam Accusations" and add in more information as per the format of a formal scam accusation or move to "Service Discussion". Then decide with other bounty managers on adding a Flag on the accused account - in this case the accused is the admin, but if they dont have any account here on bitcointalk, then I guess you cant do anything about it for now. Telegram accounts usernames are worthless, they can be changed by a single click.

The person who posted the thread may be able to get more info about the owner, how they contacted them and all. But in most cases they dont directly come this forum to avoid being marked red.

I can see the thread started back in 2020, so did you guys understand this to be scam just a few months back? In reality you should just consider every bounty project to be a failure from the start, such is the case with most nowadays. Nothing more you can do from your side but get people aware about it.

Ive also joined this campaign as far as I remember for making content creation but somehow thr payment was halt a long time ago and the ceo never got active. They have community management but seldomly answer bounty related questions. I think its time to cut the ties and dont hope for anything else. They have or should paid us already if they intend too. But unfortunately I think they dont have any plan to pay up anymore. Its been a year a guess? So this could be considered as scam alrrady.

I have joined in the campaign as well. They never intend to pay the hunters. I remember that when the team avoid the accusation by debating with its hunters about the spreadsheet calculation. As far as i know if this team behind pay accept has been creating so many scam projects in the past. They were always jumping to the new projects once they have abandon their old projects.  This scammer was still using the old trick by creating an fake ico to rob money from the investors. They were always doing rebrand for their new projects but their identity will never be lying. People must know if christian as CEO of pay accept company was scammer.
This guy was an amateur guy that act likes fully experienced developers but the fact has no good track record. People should be careful with any new projects. I joined in signature and i was getting banned from the telegroup.

hmm, I'm sorry for those who participated in promoting the project but didn't get paid, but we can't do much for example suing or doing things like that because this has become a bounty hunter risk in this job. I have also participated in several bounty projects and they refused to pay hunters. One of the projects is digitalbits.

There are some projects who didn't pay the bounty hunters at the end of the bounty, the managers did not use escrow since most of them are in ICO or IEO stage or not yet on that phase. That was one of the problems in bounty the bounty hunters can easily be scammed by the new projects and we can't do anything about it, all we can do is to help them to report or support their accusation against that project.

That's a bad sign that they are not going to pay the bounty reward, actually, it's not new here, there's still plenty of scammers that are trying to look legit and hire people to promote their project, but in the end, once they get funding, they will just disappear.

PAYT.. maybe you guys should FIGHT a bounty scam.

I feel sorry for everyone that participated in this bounty and wasted a lot of time and energy to get 0 reward in the end. I mean it's a different thing, if you participate in an altcoin bounty and then the bounty reward is basically worthless because the project never really was successful or if you get completely scammed like in your case. I also have to say though that stuff like that is happening quite often, especially in altcoin bounties. Sometimes it's a bounty manager that is a scammer and sometimes the project dies so fast that it won't survive till the final day of the bounty. You always need some luck and intuition to find good altcoin bounties.

Joining bounty campaign is free and anyone can join, all bounty hunter knows the risk they are facing. Actually it cannot be avoided since there is no rule that all projects should be using escrow service and we cannot force them to use escrow service, the positive side is that if real projects really do pay the bounty hunters earns a good profit.

This always happened when it comes bounty and probably you are the one who give time for it just make complain thread for such scam project,  actually there's a bunch and those people who wear the name of their projects and always turn into inactive, infact i have a bounty campaign as well that ended late April and they promise to distribute the rewards for all participants between August - September but nothings happen until now, and those team behind the project didn't even reply or seen some of messages. So i suggest don't expect they will keep their promises until now because they're totally a scam project. Better to stay in bounty to avoid such problems..and move on. Lol
