Most day traders will be so affected by FUD spreading through mainstream media that the panic lasts for a while. When FUD appears, traders will sell their bitcoin or crypto in a panic and it causes a price correction. I believe they are educated and experienced people in this field. Can FUD be prevented? I don't think so. But crypto users can ignore it and not be swayed by it so the sale doesn't happen on a large scale like most holders have done for years. Avoid panic and don't be swayed by FUD because history has taught us that after a correction, the price will recover from time to time.

Investing randomly without considering the risk would be suicidal, but I believe they can minimize the risk of loss if they want to invest in bitcoin in the long term. There are quite a number of wallet I have come across so far that still hold a lot of bitcoin without selling them in the last 10 years, they are hands of gold regardless of market price volatility. I think they are the ones who will win it all and make a lot of profit from assets that many people doubted in the early days. It is true that knowledge is the basis why we should invest, without knowledge we really cant stand tall.

FUD will exist in any type of investment . and indeed in crypto it is bigger because crypto prices are volatile. one way to not always FUD, be sure before choosing a coin and starting investment. FUD is something that all traders and investors in crypto must face.

There is no way you can solve an issue like this. There are so many people around the world that are investing in this market, and I believe a huge percentage of them are not even in this forum. Sometimes I use myself as an example, I never knew about the forum for years until I came across it.

So, how exactly do you plan on going about that solving a situation like this? Do you want to reach out to the whole people and tell them to stop selling when there is FUD? You don’t know everyone’s thoughts and you don’t know the action they will take next. That’s not going to be possible, so what you have to do is to focus on yourself and do what will work for you to save yourself from loss.

Problems will always exist here since different events affect the price of cryptocurrencies as well as the market situation but if we'll focus on the negativity instead of hoping for a positive impact, we'll surely attract what we believe. Despite all the negative things that are happening in crypto, we should still know how to deal with it. Investors listen to every story they got online, if there is someone out there posting negative thoughts on Bitcoin, it's somehow regarded as truth when in fact this someone is no way near to half-truth. The internet can spread information quickly without having to rely on news articles. Once someone sees something out there that can affect the price, they'll take a step to make sure they are favored with such news.

They definitely should always check the stories online because even if they don't, their money is going to only go down the drain and be useless. That's the way things work for this kind of things so there's nothing we can really do.

Problem in cryptocurreny is by targeting and hacking a cryptocurrency exchange, hackers can gain access to thousands of accounts and digital wallets where the cryptocurrencies are stored and has high transaction fees, which would be even higher if it were to be more adopted.

You simply spread accurate information and educate people. But while you can do that to decrease misunderstandings from the masses, there is simply an unlimited supply of idiocy. So while you can try as hard as you can(which is good), it's pretty difficult to have a meaningful impact.

This, since bitcoin is a decentralized currency then any measure that we could take in order to reduce the impact of FUD needs to be decentralized as well, this means that accurate information is the best way to reduce the impact of FUD in the present and in the future, however this is almost impossible to do, I remember a quote of Douglas Adams ‘Nothing moves faster than the speed of light, with the possible exception of bad news’ so by the time we try to spread accurate information FUD has already took place and people have already took mistaken decisions because of it.

There will always be a part who are against change. You should've learned that from growing up.
FUD will be there and haters will hate as long as they are stuck with their traditional beliefs.
There are people who are hard-headed enough to think a change must not happen to prevent people from confusing with what is new.
A belief to stay with the old ways when life is simple. But that's not how the world circulates, there will always be something new, a discovery.

What can you do about it? It's either you zip your mouth because you cannot offer knowledge about it and let others do the explaining while you also listen and maybe next time you will be the teacher or you side with them.

This forum is a lot about removing FUD and disseminating truthful information about bitcoin and crypto. Personally, along my journey, I have experienced a personal progress from being sceptical, to being interested, to being wrong and to start getting things right. As of now, the only thing I regret is that it has taken me some time to get rid of FUD as I do not like simple explanations nor believe anything until I can check it for myself.

True that lack of knowledge makes everyone worry and that's where the fear starts if they don't understand how the market works.

ignorance is the common reason why people spread fud, hate or dislike to certain things. but once you educate them, they will change their perspectives. so if you are hesitant on some things, why make a habit of educating yourself. don't just listen to other's opinions because it is tainted by bias already. just like many anti-bitcoin or anti-crypto, i believe most if not all them haven't experienced receiving or transacting crypto. but once they experienced it, high likely they will change their stance on this matter.

Another problem might occur, there are those people that don't liked to be taught by anyone. They feel supreme and knows everything, as in everything even if you're more experienced than them.
Their ego and pride, they can't low it down and that's probably just a few percentage of people in this market are having that situation.

I do agree that there are people who do not care about what is going on and invest willy nilly without a care in the world then get shocked when they lose their money. There is nothing you can do to convince these people to not do something like that. They are idiots or newbies, if they are idiots then they will keep on making that type of mistake because they have no financial education and they do not want one and assume they are great because they are ignorant people, they will claim scam as soon as they lose money as well, it is common with all the idiots who lost money because market went down.

If they are newbies then they will get better and with some experience they will not be making that type of mistake again because they are now more veteran in trading.

They already reserved their currency we know that someday they try to manipulate the market.so recent news the USA don't want to ban currency so china wanted to manipulate the market to buy again and again.

There is no doubt that everyone has a different level of understanding of FUD and emotional control. You may think of negative news as just FUD, but your emotions lead you to worry that most people don't agree with you. So your emotions are fighting your own understanding.

Sometimes I think when the market dumps the price, those who have sold their bitcoins are not because of the negative news effects, but rather they are worried about each other.

The crypto industry is still young, and we just need to give it some more time to figure things out. Furthermore, I am confident that soon we will be able to get solution and jump pretty seamlessly, almost completely avoiding FUDs and outrageous fees. Because of high fees, Crypto adoption is lessening, which is detrimental to the industry. Crypto-currencies' volatile nature will always pose problems and co-exist with them. 

Yeah, FUD is being used every year to make the cryptocurrency market dump but everyone is now aware of the FUD and how it affects the crypto market. We always need information about what's happening and why it's happening so we won't panic sell because that's always the issue. We always rely on the big firms and that's one of the cause why many people dumping even it's not really worth dumping the token and face regret at the end. High fees aren't really problem, there are bunch of networks you can be used to have small transaction fees, you just need to explore the whole cryptocurrency and research how to use it.

This is the unfortunate truth that surrounds the cryptospace. With all the false information being spread across the media, the amount of people who are willing to do their research vs people who believe based on mere assumptions is just staggering. People will always cling to their bias without even exerting any effort to do research to know the truth.

In cryptocurrencies (BTC to be specific), there will always be that person who spreads fake information on social media. Unfortunately also, anything that is false in nature spreads quickly compared to something that is beneficial. Well I guess human nature is indeed full of idiocy, as @mk4 mentioned.

positive information is very important for us to spread at all times, crypto experts and all crypto currency users must together show the positive side of using crypto currencies.  in some countries, the government regulates different regulations, so we don't need to just look at one country that prohibits the use of cryptocurrencies.  so I'm pretty sure cryptocurrencies won't die just because of regulation in one country.

But in fact crypto cannot avoid FUD, because FUD itself is deliberately targeted as a form of destabilizing its holders. Not directly specific to crypto. Fud is more targeting its holders who do not know the risk of cryptocurrency price fluctuations. Any news that aims to destroy the price of crypto is from the central government which still maintains fiat as a means of payment. Hired a number of internet teams to keep up the good work on bad news. In the end, this is the most powerful tradition in shaking the trust of crypto users.
