Hello, I'm a bit confused for what just happened to me yesterday. I bought four Ebit E10 miner machines one month ago and everything was ok. Temp was between 64°C to 70°C everyday (I think this is ok because these machines use to be hotter than bitmain ones)... Yesterday I recieve a notification about "offline" machine on my phone, and when I went to check, every single cable of two of my miners are burned.... I dont even know why this happened. The voltage was ok, between 230-240V. This happened only in 2 machines. Any idea?

Are all four miners running from the same mains phase?

From your pool records, did both units stop mining at exactly the same time or different times?

Several causes for this: Main one is that the PCIe power connectors were worn out. This can apply to both the ones on PSU cables as well as those on the hash boards. In fact, given that PSU's are often used by the original owners to power several generations of hardware, IMO the problem most likely started with the plugs on the PSU cables. Even the best connectors have pins that are only rated for a mere 25 plug/unplug cycles and odds are those have been cycled a lot more than that.

Once plating is worn off the connections become very warm and things quickly avalanche down hill from there. Reason the data cables fried is because after you lost the return paths from the hash board plugs the next in line to (try) to carry the high current were the data cable returns.

In short - just 1 more reason to be very wary when buying used hardware...

Sorry for the late reply.
Yes, they were connected to the same main phase. And they just stop minning in different times. I have 4 ebit miners and 2 of them just got burned.

Thank you for your answer, I'm sorry for the late reply.  I agree with you, these miners were used before, maybe the original owners didn't treated the miners very well...
