Hello everyone,
I'm looking to start bitcoin mining, I have a large amount of free electricity (Solar, around 12+ Kilowatts of unused power) and I want to maximize return on investment (ROI) in the least amount of time. My budget is around 1600-2000$ USD (Lower is better) and my location is in Nairobi, Kenya.
As for purchasing an ASIC miner, with such a wide range of options, I'm a bit overwhelmed with the choice of what would be the best option for me.
Also, I haven't really understood what internet speeds I would need to meaningfully mine crypto, would 10Mbps suffice?
I don't have much experience in bitcoin mining but I do have a good knowledge and competency of the technology.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Alas you won't find any new Bitcoin miners for that very low price.

Current miners are around $6k to $10k for one miner.

You'd have to go down the old 2nd hand miner path, which is full of risks and issues.

I see.
So, in your opinion, what would be the best budget (Bang for buck) ASIC miner at that price range?
Also, how much could I expect to generate daily with a miner worth that much? I know markets fluctuate a lot but I'd be interested in a general figure.
Thank you for your reply.

It depends on your Electricity rate if you have a free power source or near 0.02 cents you can start to buy 2nd hand miners.
Start from buying used Antminer s9 and I'm sure there is someone selling it for a cheap price maybe around $200 each.

You can use this tool https://www.mycryptobuddy.com/BitcoinMiningCalculator to calculate your ROI and daily earnings.

For a list of ASIC and profitability, you can check this https://whattomine.com/miners

Thanks for the tools. At 200$ a pop that would be much more convenient (if they are less risky)until I have generated enough cash to buy a higher-end product that yields a higher ROI. Again thanks for the help.  Cheers

Interesting how you sold 1million miners from 2013-2021 without a web site until a few months ago ...

Hello, thanks for your comments. We have a small shop for selling ASIC miner offline before, not listed online. This year China banned ASIC miners, so we started to sell them online internationally, so we got the website. I can provide any proofs that you want to prove that we're a legit supplier in China, Thanks.
