I personally might prefer to invest with coins than NFT because with NFT we can't get maximum profit for the short term unlike investing with altcoins where we have the opportunity to get daily profits by trading, on the other hand NFT is a new trend which is currently hype and we certainly never know whether in the future the hype will continue or will fade away.

Honestly it looks like OP probably decided already, been so long. But for anyone in the future that wants to ask these type of questions, what you have so far and all the data is required to give answer to this. I have to say there is a good amount of chance you will be facing different situations and need to do different stuff. For example, if you are talking about someone who already has 5k+ dollars distributed into 10+ different coins then I would suggest to get into something new, if you have no NFT then get one, if you have no coins then get them.

For example, if you have never invested into crypto before in your life, then that 500 should be $300 btc and $200 eth if you ask me. I know it may sound like gas fee will be high but just keep it on the exchange you buy and that way you will be doing fine. That's what I would do, but as of right now I have a lot of coins, not a lot in value but in number and I would probably get some NFT because of that.

If you want a lil bit of insurance with your money, you will go to established coins like BNB or ETH. But if you want high risk investments, you can try the NFT market. But NFT market is quite expensive so don't know how far is your 500 bucks can go here. Though you can also acquire small amount of bnb or eth, but at least you have the feeling that this will not disappear into thin air. Or you can try TRX or XRP, for me they are much better rather than meme tokens.

I personally prefer investing with BTC, ETH and BNB coins than investing with NFT because so far I have gotten great returns while investing with those three coins, to be honest although recently NFT has become hype among cryptocurrencies but I not very interested in investing into it.

I mean if you are using eth network that money is mostly for gas fee. If you buy a nft there won't be left any money for nft itself because of gas and fees.

I prefer to use my money for rare NFT because the price of NFT is stable according to the price we buy and we can sell at a high price and not be affected by the market situation. If it's a coin, buy it with a coin that has fundamentals in the future like a BTC, ETH, MATIC , dan BNB but depends on the market situation, but I don't recommend it if you don't have enough analysis skill to read market situation
