If you are spending 500 usd on an NFT, make sure it is on a blockchain that actually stores the NFT on it, like NEAR or ICP. If you own an NFT on Ethereum it might cost you a 100 usd just to sell it and you don't even own it on the blockchain like ICP, you only own your Ethereum NFT hash linked to a file stored on IPFS.

I will choose to invest in a coin. NFT became popular because of hype and probably good only for short term, while coin can be a good investment even for long term. You just need to be wise in choosing the coins to invest in because not all of existing coins are worthy to hold and buy. Hence the chances to gain will depend on your choices so if you chose to invest in a coin that has potential and real use case then you can expect to have a good result.

NFT buying is more like investing into some very non liquid art. Coin buying is far different because most of (bigger cap legit) alternative coins are very liquid. Especially ones in Binance. You can convert them to fiat money with a touch of finger and smartphone in seconds. This is why I never really invested in NFTs. Only times I bought NFTs was for to play Blockchain games like Radio Caca for example.

Besides, the trend and demand on most of NFT has already been formed. What are most expensive and popular NFTs ? Monkeys for example? Then it is impossible that someone creates NFT and its value suddenly goes up. But with altcoin, such scenario is possible. A person just needs to find that gem in a pile of crap.

As well as this possible, opposite one might happen mate but the we are sharing same opinion. Nft is now like a risky gamble. Because the hype is almost finished with the bear season. Its small chance to have valuable nft which have a rising potential in the future. NFT was just a hype after defi. Whales invest on NFT and buying NFTs with high rate so that to create hype, nothing else. Useless NFTs sold for millions of dollar which is unbelievable. I also bought some NFT, those are useless nowadays. So you sould use your fund wisely and should invest on good coins. At least you can sell your coins anything with some price!

In my opinion, investment coins are better than NFT, although it looks promising, but now NFT is also difficult to develop quickly, investments on coins that have great potential to skyrocket in the short term are the best options, please buy TRX, FTM, Cake, or others.

because there have been many cases of NFT being bought for hundreds of thousands of dollars and now it's so cheap it's not even worth it,
