That was your friend, you paid only snack and coffee and he didn't really look for making a profit from you. That is very different from someone selling $999 course deal on udemy or whatever. Those are the people who are not looking like a decent trader to me. Of course, I had people who shared their insight in the crypto trading world with me, those people didn't look for any money at all and they were people I know that made profit from trading.

I do not really know what I should be doing to further it after years though. There is nothing like that, I have met with plenty of very wealthy people, or rich people who made their money in crypto and neither made it with anything "secret", it is always the same thing. They work hard, they do not put any emotions into work at all, they fit in a strategy and never get out of it and they perfect their craft.
