We start this Week so before the halving

Hello all,

let's go to the next group buy from Hashingpower.

As already requested by some forum users I put a new group buy for solo mining. Start at the earliest after the next diff reduction.

~10-20 users for each 0.005 BTC, 0.01 BTC or more BTC can participate. A higher number is not useful, otherwise a possible profit will be much too small.
If smaller amounts than the minimum amount are allowed in a single case, then the calculation of the rewards will be based on the amount of BTC deposited.
Hashingpower is rented on Nicehash and shot on the solo pool.
The status of the group run can be observed during the runtime via the Live View link.
Here you can see what our hashingpower is and what our highest share / bestshare is.

If a block is found, the reward will be paid out to the participants.

To make it a little easier in the new year, I've decided to do the reservations differently.
In the new year there are reservations possible for people who pay for 2, 5, 10, ... block party runs in front.
If the quota is exhausted, the place will be automatically free and someone else can use the place.

Specifically, we start with the Blockparty Run 2022-1 and if someone sends 20x 0.01 BTC at the first time, he is practically permanent until the Blockparty Run 20.
If someone joins the Blockparty Run 2022-7 and sends 10x 0.01 BTC, he will be a member until Blockparty Run 17.
This simplifies the organization and places are not permanently taken by the same people, unless someone sends 50x 0.01 BTC for the 50 planned Runs.

If we should not create at the end 2023 the Runs, for which someone already paid, the last Run in 2023 all payments are used around longer to run.

As long as open slots are available the coins can be sent at any time without an OK from me

I don't quite understand how mining works but may I ask if you don't find a block? the BTC0.01 will be gone right? so this is a really expensive gambling? but the rewards is really high.

That's really a gambling, I would like to ask if you can consider lowering the the minimum deposit. I'm interested but I think for some of us that's pretty expensive for a one time shot but was it a one time or was it like a rent for a month? Sorry I don't know much about mining but I'm interested to this one.

The back end payment would would be a lot more for you if a block is found but you might get a bunch more people to join.

Just a thought, don't know if it's been discussed before. And how other people feel about it. Everyone has their own "pain point" when it comes to things like this. A little testing to see what it is might find you more users.

Is this some kind of renting a mining rig which you mentioned about renting on nicehash to find block and it is quite risky too if no block found then no profit and you lose the btc you sent. Am I right?. Lowering the btc required could also be a good start as I can't afford to lose that amount of money if it is converted to my local fiat. By the way, you didn't answer if it is one time or there is a time frame.

I understand the gambling part since you guys is mining a block using a rental miner. Still a good high risk high reward if you successfully hit a block for a few try. I'm familiar on CK mining pool but I don't have courage to risk on it. This mining pool is a cool idea so that you will have a buddy in case you burn money to nothing.

Surely something like this will be dominated by the massive mining farms out there... or is this petty cash for them to enter, compared to the profits that they are making with their mining farms?

What happens if someone that did not enter the Lotto, mine the block? (Does the Lotto rollover until there are a winner, like other Lotto's do?.....adding the previous entry fees to the next round?)
