Wanted to share this thing a small group has been building the last few months. Labor of love and an experiment in NFTs. It's a limited edition coin (100) - each one linked to a unique Garbage Pail Kids-ish (GPK) NFT.

Cool idea.  That's a 51mm slug huh. I Like me some bigger coins.  Not a huge fan of nft thingys but obviously I'm not of the majority

Edit: nice touch on the website explanation  " Pawn it, carry it to impress your conspiracy theorist trap girlfriend, or store it away for your cousin's grandkids because if you're still reading this, you're probably gonna die alone and need some "meaning" to sustain you when your trading account goes to zero.

I've been working on something similar to this idea.  My question is how are they linked?  Is it just that they are carrying matching numbers or is there a private key somewhere on the coin that is holding an NFT on the blockchain?  I've been waiting to see how long before I started seeing these types of things.  Very cool.  I wish you the best of luck with this project and hope that you continue to innovate interesting NFT products as the space is the next frontier of crypto and in my opinion most likely crypto tech to be adopted and actually used by the masses.

Thank you, I'll pass it on. Owners receive a private key and the NFT and coin have matching numbers. I'm actually surprised we haven't seen more of this sort of thing out there yet - it's the perfect use case. There are some other innovations coming in the future, too.

There could be a signature bounty/incentive for sure. And as far as utility, as was mentioned in the Telegram, current holders of the McAfee hybrid are eligible for the NFT NYC airdrop this week. Watch out for that. Should be a fun one.

Heads up for anyone following this thread. We'll have a (non-conventional) presence at DCentral later this month and will be giving away a few special and unique numbered NFTs (and airdropping) to existing holders. Have to follow on Twitter (@getfullyrekt) for it, and TG users will get first word. DAO is still in planning, so there's that, too.

Also, other cryptos are being considered for payment.

Pirate (ARRR) and Wownero (WOW) have been requested. Haven (XHV) might be an interesting option, but not sure if anyone uses the coin for transactions.
