A server can shutdown anytime and that's the reality. There's no perfect system and even if you replace Facebook with another popular social media.

Well, if you knew the truth, you probably will be very angry with me for not forceful getting the world out of centralized systems/internet.
    Sensitive/private data need to be controlled by their owners.

I hope people will eventually go for safe and truely decentralized communication platforms .

People were over reacting when facebook/instagram shutdown , you can just call your friends... i only was frustrated beacuse i couldn't browse my phone before bed

From what I heard from my friends, their setting applied in a wrong setting that cause the server can run normally. It takes some time to fix the problem but fortunately, that problem can be fixed and now, the connection is run normal again. It is normal to see a server down for a while because the server needs to maintain by the technicians to run.
