NFT is for non-fungible token, and it is a rare online property that represents ownership of real-world goods such as art. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) can only be traded on the Internet and are used to substitute ownership of a specific asset.
I believe that not everyone who offers you NFT has a positive intension toward you, that's why you should be cautious if you receive NFT from anyone or buying from anywhere. NFT is also an asset, and NFTs are included on the Ethereum blockchain, Which makes NFTs special token on their own and then cointans data within them.

Currently, there are ways in which NFTs can be used to scam people that most people are unaware of. Some people do not believe NFTs can be used to scam people, which I believe from this post you should be aware of it because I will be discussing a few of them, so whenever you come across things like that, you should definitely avoid them and be cautious to avoid being scammed.

1. Clone NFT stores: There are many fake NFT stores that sell copied NFT that people may believe is the original NFT. Scammers will create a fake website in which they will buy a domain name that is very similar to the original NFT store domain name that will look exactly like the original one and you will be asked to input your credit card details in the website that is fake and your credit card will be compromised and they will steal your money. They will ensure that they use the logo of a legitimate NFT store, and will allow their website looks like the original NFT store website, and they will sell the same type of NFT that is available on the main NFT store, which they are selling the fake NFT. As a result, we must all exercise extreme caution while selecting a store from which to get our NFT.

2. Brand impersonation on social media: currently, this method is widespread, and if you are not cautious, you may end up joining a fake social media group, which is very common on Telegram. You will join the fake group and believe you have joined the original group. The scammers create a Telegram group using the name of a legitimate NFT store, but it is a false account, not the genuine account, and they always claim to be official support, which they are not, and their main goal is to defraud people of their money.

3. NFT can also be sent to your wallet address, and the sender of the NFT will track the cryptocurrency or coins in your wallet, and then he will steal the coin in the receiver of the NFT wallet, so we should be very careful because not everyone who gives us NFT has good intentions with us; some have wicked intentions, and they are only trying to steal and not give.

4. Currently, this method is also used to empty people's wallets; you may receive a link on social media that contains a virus; if you open the link, the hacker will automatically gain access to your wallet and begin draining all the coins in your wallet, therefore, you must be cautious about the links you click, some people are simply attempting to hack into your account.

Actually, there are the same methods of how scammers deceive people in other projects not connected to NFTs.

The moral is that we should always be very careful. We should check addresses that we transfer to several times, we should check addresses of NFTs that we are going to buy, we should be careful with our seed phrases, as it is one of the ways scammers can steal our money.

Aforementioned techniques you included on your posts are already tactics and schemes that scammers do in order to one-up on people. The bottom line here is that if you don't wanna get scammed, you have to be more skeptical of the stuff you click on the internet. This goes for everything because scammers and hackers will do whatever they can in their power to scam you, there's just no way around it. Just sad that so many people are getting scammed in this industry it almost seems like a rite of passage sometimes.

Where there is thriving flora, weeds will grow. That's the way of life and sadly that is what could perfectly describe how scammers operate. They would focus on a booming venture which in this case is NFT, and learn the craft so well they could bullshit their way out of anything. At the end of the day your conscience will be your own enemy, if you are not a psychopath or someone with a crooked moral compass. At the end of the day the best tip we could give newbies to not get scammed is to just think critically all the time.

Luckily, I have never been interested in NFT, which is currently booming and is actually far from its original value. This is just a joke that scammers deliberately make to distract us with the trend. NFT has created an opening for fraudsters to enter into it and camouflage as if they are a promising project.
Look at how many NFTs are currently spread out and it's really hard to filter which ones really have quality values.

While I acknowledge that scam isn't only limited to NFTs, I must say that crypto scams are always on the rise whenever Bitcoin is in a bullish rally. People should do their research before splashing the cash on any project. You talked about NFTs, what about tokens listed on Dex? Without copying and pasting the contract addresses of tokens listed on pancakeswap to find them one might buy a wrong token with same name but different contracts. Isn't that on its own a deliberate clone act and a ploy to deceive?

I think those who get caught in those scenarios listed in numbers 3 & 4 must be those who are new in this industry or they're plainly not smart at all.

Right, it is a recycle method used by scammers, even in the ICO hype in 2017, we've seen some of these scammers pulling this kind of stunt.

And so it's totally in our hands, think many times before you enter a website and check if it is legit or not, maybe it was a clone and it looks like the original. Same as in the social media, like Twitter, maybe someone will offer you help and you think it's an official NFT personally, but they just impersonate someone and once you've given them your MetaMask mnemonic, all your crypto's will be swept in an instant.

So it's a jungle out there, and we need to be very very careful.

I am not agree about this point because in some cases the NFT  is scam but anyone said that Every NFT scam that is Absolutely rong so the my point of view is that some NFT give him a beautiful benefits and some cases NFT not perform a Specific Task so we said this NFT look like scam .

As crypto are upgrading and wide spreading are the same way these scammers are also improving on their tactis too. One has to be very careful before any transaction are being carried out.

Since the announcement of Facebook rebounding as META as their new brand name, it seems as if a new hype has been awakened, metervase projects are popping up here and there, it is as though scammers has found a new niche, investors really needs to be careful and not fall into the wrong project pretending to be nft/metervase projects. Always do your due diligent.

If you are spending that much on one stuff then you are probably either not checking it and deserve to be scammed, or you should check and not get fooled. There are also a few people who do check and still get scammed because scammers are getting better and better but that is not something that is common, most people get scammed because they have no idea what they are investing into.

This results with scammers getting more courage and they are more and more rampant everywhere and they are scamming more easily and without fear of getting caught.

Now two types of projects call me dual feelings, it is an NFT, and meme coins. Their old growth, very much reminds Era Dot Coms. And after insane growth there will be such a loud drop that it will be scared, and I do not even know how many people will experience pain from it.
