Since you created this thread and many members posted links, resources, and casinos where you can learn and play this game, I'm sure many of us will take an interest and play this game and post their experience, I am not aware of this game not because it's not popular but because there are so many games on the casinos I hardly notice it, the game looks complicated but based on what I read it's easy to play and it's a luck-based game, I might try it one of this day now that there is one site where I have an account had this game.  

It's a very popular game in Chinese gambler. IMHO, It is a counterpart of craps in China which both very entertaining if you played most of the table games. I highly recommend playing this game live to experience thrill and fun. The live casino provider for this kind of game is evolution gaming, I think I only see this game added on there game list last year or this year only. I don't play like that... I have multiple bets, for example, "big", "total 10 or 11" (they come often, but sometimes I chase higher odds), "two dices" and "one dice" bets... I like to chase "two of the same" as well!

With 3 dices it's like crazy gambling, people should be aware of that! For fun, I took 3 dice and I rolled them many times (I was bored at that time) and the results were crazy... so I guess this online Sic Bo game can be crazy as well! A real gambling game where luck is more important than any strategy and skill!

To be honest, I haven't heard about this game before and I never thought that it's famous in some Eastern Asia countries. I've found out that it's also a simple dice game. I like playing dice games because of their simplicity but I would like to try Sic Bo but I guess I still have to do further research or watch videos about it first.

I read about this game on Wikipedia and found that it is really an ancient game. Perhaps this explains such inadequate odds - once it was normal, but now having the opportunity to play in any casino with a house edge of 0.5%, such games are irrelevant. By the way, as you can see from Wikipedia, as the game spread to other countries, the odds became more adequate - for example, for England, instead of 150:1, the dealer offers 180:1, which practically halves the house edge.

I never heard about this game as well. I read a little about this game, let me summarize it for other forum members as well.
Apparently this game is played with three dice and it originated in Ancient China but now can be found in most of the offline casinos. It's very popular in UK as well. Betting is based on all three dices Rollin the same. This game is more about interaction as well since people are sitting on the table and the dealer waits before shaking the box and opening it, revealing the combination inside, therefore I do feel this might be a reason why it's not so famous online. At the same time the probability is better for other games as well, therefore I do believe that that's the reason why people don't play this game this often.

At first look, it is quite complicated, however, the game is very simple. In this game, the dealer uses three dice, and you need to bet what is the outcome of the sum of these 3 dice once rolled. That's it!

Maybe, people don't want this game because aside from seemingly complicated one, the chance of you winning is quite low because there are several outcomes as you are talking about the probability of the sum of the 3 dice. But you can bet single, double or triple, depending on how you feel about those dice.

i guess the factor of HE is also an important factor why people are not considering this dice game. quite high as compared to other classic games.

Gamble using 3 dices will be too hard to predict as 2 dices already make us lose some money. So the chance to win on those games is still lower but not for people who have their luck because they will win the games, no matter what the gambling games are. There are no popular casinos promoting or supporting playing SicBo if one of the popular gambling sites like Stake or Betfury included this game and promote it to their players many will likely play, but it has no support, this is the first time I read this game, I am already comfortable playing with my favorite games I'm alternating at least 7 games I don't think I can accommodate new luck-based game, that looks complicated to me.

But it seems that in order to learn and grow there is no harm in me making a few small bets and knowing how the game works. Because this game looks quite complicated. Even if Stake has their own SicBo game, I doubt it will give big impact to the popularity of the game as it is about preferences.
SicBo is a game with higher house edge than other common popular games, I believe most gambler will stay on their favorite games (even slots with higher HE than SicBo) because of various reason.

So this is just like you bet on the pictures and wait for the result of dice? I'm curious about this game already since this is my first time to hear about Sic Bo game and the site I'm using doesn't have this kind of game. Just bet the money you can afford to lose, it doesn't matter if its big or not just enjoy the game.

This is an unknown game for me, but the different options you can set when betting makes me remember roulette game, with the difference you have 3 dices instead of the roulette. It must not be so popular because it's hard to understand at first impression. So much informations on the table can be quite confusing for most people, however I'm sure if a dedicated expert person takes his time to explain the game to a newbie during a game session it can be understood fastly, like most gambling games.
