It's been six good years that I've been in crypto space and I've sell so many coins and tokens along the way and today I will like to make a list of good exchanges so far that are more reliable and safer for new crypto adopters, the reason why I feel like doing this is because some new exchanges are still out there that aren't recognised, they exist only to lure unknown victims

The list is way more than this but like I've said this are just list of my favourite that I always buy and sell on and I believe that someone new to crypto will always find their way to this forum every day this should be useful to them, my advice is do not use new exchanges that no one knows much about, these exchanges are good enough

No centralized exchange is feel safe for anyone, just hope you don't be a victim of any of the listed ones up there.
I would prefer decentralized exchanges where I get to communicate which just protocol on web 3 and my Wallet.

Hello buddy! I am surprised that you are in the crypto space for six years but Gate exchange is not on your list! Gate exchange is my favorite and is the 4th exchange in CMC and 7th in Coingecko, I like it because it has very good security compared to other top exchanges like Binance, KuCoin, Huobi, and many more.

Anyways, you are using the best exchanges and I recommend them to beginners.

I only trade on exchanges I'm familiar with. I have used OkeX, Binance, Coinbase. I use Kucoin to buy tokens that are not listed on Binance/Coinbase. I use FTX exchange for trading futures. If you're in the United States you need a vpn to trade Binance because of the ban. OP I suggest you include the countries where the listed exchanges are accepted/banned.

The only exchanges I trust for the moment are the only ones who I have worked with from quite some time now.From your list only Binance is there as the other two I use are Bittrex and Cex exchanges.I don't say anything for the list as it looks good but my advice is only use exchanges you are comfortable working with and first and fore most they are trustworthy exchanges.

Yea gate.io is one of the best crypto exchanges in this space but if you read my post very well you will see that made mentioned of few exchanges I personally use myself not trying to mention all available good crypto exchanges in crypto world, sorry mate

I've never lost money using them unless one use a low rated exchange, binance and kucoin was once hacked and they reimburse everyone that lost fund, so mate tell me how won't I trust such exchange where their Devs are ready to pay users their lost funds

though you can feel a bit of security with exchanges having their insurance in place, but still, it is better to store your funds in your own wallet, where you have the full control of it, especially if you are looking at long-term storage. it is never a smart idea to store your funds in centralised exchanges. even if they will refund you, it would take time and mental stress waiting for that period of getting it back.
but for short term trading, there are really reputable exchanges that you can trust but from the OP's list, am not really familiar with mxc or hoo.

Because there is always the possibility to see a hack event so big that a platform wouldn't be able to reimburse 100%. No matter how big the platform is and no matter if they have a 'special funds pool' (like what Binance has set up long ago).

There is also the risk to get your account suspended for any reason they please and start to be bothered with the KYC/AML bullshit. Without being sure to get back your coins, on top of that...
When you deposit some coins, you don't own the coins anymore. You lend it to the platform to make it works for you (to either buy or sell).

As the guy said "not your keys, not your coins"

After imposing KYC, this list is not valid for all users, and some of them do not want to verify ID when they use it, so take out exchanges that require KYC or that have low trading volumes & problems with the support team.

After imposing KYC, this list is not valid for all users, and some of them do not want to verify ID when they use it, so take out exchanges that require KYC or that have low trading volumes & problems with the support team.

+1. Because of this KYC crackdown on most centralized exchanges, we see a lot of users are transferring to other centralized exchanges. Best example here is Binance. I saw before on Twitter about how the volume of users being moved exchange by exchange, I am positive that the reason for it was the KYC issues.
FTX Exchange is still a good choice for me, as I am using it for years now.

I know all of them except the Hoo exchange. I think this is a good reference for those traders and newbies that are still looking for an exchange to trade with. But as usual, they'll see binance to be the most suggested exchange.

With user experience being different for each person, there should be supporting details on why you think this and that exchange fits your criteria.

But imo if we were to talk about "more reliable and safer for new crypto adopters" I don't think less reputable exchanges like hoo and mxc should be in the list cause they are the closest to those "new exchanges" you mentioned.

Even though coinbase is one of the biggest crypto currency exchange its not really a safe exchange because I faced issues with coinbase exchange which put my assets on hold.for very long time and also their strict policies will get your account to be terminated at any time so better keep an alternative if Coinbase is your primary exchange.

MXC and Hoo are completely new to me, and it doesn't ring a bell why it should be on one of the bests. Some users might oppose your list coz there's no actually best in terms of exchanges, most of these have untold bad experiences, from withdrawal issue, recovering account, unresponsive support, KYC and many more.

KYC is one of the drawbacks of using exchanges. And will ask more personal information once you face a problem, or when you sent a large amount to your account.

I'll go with kucoin, but in the long run they will eventually turn like binance did that required its users to do kyc.

I think that they can work on it even if the day comes that they're expanding from country to country and they'll aim for the top. It's just hard to see that they'll remain to be like this because we've been hoping of the same for Binance.

But if it turns out that they'll be also going to be the same, then another one might emerge.

One way or another will be all forced to use client verification, no matter which country they will use in order to avoid this. We all know what Binance comes up to when they ignore tax authorities and regulators.
IMO things can be even worse in the future and restrictions for all to be tougher and harder.

It happened to binance coz they want to broaden their users and operating while they don't have license to operate in that country e.i. US and UK, now that the authorities urge them to follow business standards and urge their users for personal requirements. If kucoin did happen to operate on these countries, they'll probably will require KYC on the platform.

The days that a centralized exchange will be "alone" and operate without any kind of KYC / AML, is long gone.

As bitcoin proves its worth, and get acknowledge by governments on many countries, KYC/AML will be and is already a part of the industry, it will be the new normal. So, users will have no choice but to provide information if they want to use these platforms, else use alternatives.

Most time i use Binance, Kucoin, Mexc exchange for crypto trading and as a local exchange i use Wazirx for converting my Crypto currency  to local currency. All exchange is good and trusted but nowadays i found a bug of wazirx exchange.
