I can imagine the turmoil that investors in various NFT tokens, GameFi, memcoins, and fan tokens have experienced. This is a special category of shitty coins that will fall with any market turmoil.

I've been watching this group of tokens for the past six months and noticed that they were most preferred by various newbies who didn't know where to put their $500-1000. Most of them probably sold their crappy investments at a loss. Hopefully this will be a good lesson for them and they'll start to have a better attitude about what projects are worth investing their money in.

Actually, if you look at it in general, it's almost the same because every altcoin always has an impact when Bitcoin decreases and so does when Bitcoin starts to increase because unlucky coins can even potentially die when there is a disposal or the influence of Bitcoin declines.
And this is a little different from the coins that are already in the top 100 as seen in Coinmarketcap and Coinecko.

From late 2017 to late 2019 I often participated in airdrops and also bought ICO tokens but my mistake was being too confident that the tokens would have value in the future. I take this as a lesson so that in the future I can be wiser in investing my money in crypto-assets and only choose trusted and have a good reputation like bitcoin.

it's not just shitcoins that have been dumped, but many altcoins have also experienced dumps because the price of Bitcoin has been dumped in early 2022,
so if you put 100% of your money in shitcoins, of course it's very risky, shitcoins are just a pump and dump place,

I think it would be true, every uptrend is represented by bitcoin… altcoins follow more strongly when bitcoin's trend is going strong, which is happening in reverse.  In a downtrend, bitcoin is still proving the only value that causes altcoins/shitcoins to lose direction, an ambiguity that some people don't seem to realize is the rule.  By the way, I don't hold much shitcoins since late 2021. If you refer to a whole trend on altcoins, then you are correct. But if you refer to an increase in an altcoin price, I think it is not fully true. Sometimes, an altcoin price can increase because of a pump caused by manipulation or certain events on the altcoin project. So, we cannot rely on the trend in Bitcoin price only to determine the possibility of the next trend in an altcoin.

By the way, I don't hold much shitcoins since late 2021.

Holding shitcoins is too risky. You made a good decision to not hold any of them.
FYI, I have some shitcoins, but I never bought them. I got those shitcoins from airdrops or bounty jobs.

Even though you get shitcoins from bounties and airdrops, the rate slowly decreases and continues to decrease, that's why shitcoins are not part of an investment and should do research every time you decide to buy coins, even to join the bounty you have to do research to get coins from good projects.

Haha lol, I have the same. We only lost time and not money, but we have both learned our lessons. Some bounties can still be interesting but you need to pick wisely and hope that the project becomes a success and gets listed on some major exchanges.
The other shitcoins I bought (including Cummies) have lost around 90% of their value  . Luckily the amount I invested in these coins is always low.

Pretty much on point but people won't want to believe this because of greed.  They see what alts did during flash pumps and think it will happen again.  Bagholder syndrome.  Moral of the story is hold and buy bitcoin here and leave your alts in the dust until a new cycle starts.

My Shitcoins is still sitting in my ERC20 wallets , actually i accumulate those long time ago and i have no plans in disposing them Unless chance that their Dev comes back and make live the project again lol.

Actually all of that still really depends on market conditions, because at this time it is indeed more feasible to buy top coins at low prices than targeting unclear memecoins.
But in the condition of a large pump in the market I think it doesn't matter if someone wants to take advantage of memecoin to reap some profits in a certain size, because the chances are definitely bigger to get.
