You can also search for this information in telegram chats for miners.
But in the beginning it is difficult to evaluate the coin. I also tried to do this before, but it did not bring me profit, but only wasted time and losses.

Most new PoW coins are shitcoins so I won't advice you to venture into them, some are going to live a very short life and some will be dead in a month or two, most  new PoW coins of 2017 are now dead, I mined many at the time and today there is no single update about them

Agree! The ANN thread is one of the best places to get coins info!
I'm rarely mine new coins, tbh. As I recall, I only mine new coins three times: PayCoin (XPY) 2014, ZCash (ZEC) 2016, and Callisto (CLO) 2018.

Paycoin (XPY) is the best-ever moment in my mining carer.
Do you guys remember this? GAW, ZenMiner, Zencloud, Josh Garza. LMAO

At that time, miners overrun all Hashrate marketplace like Mining Rig Rentals, NiceHash, and WestHash just for renting Hash power.

OP is tryin' to find new PoW coins with a pretty good use case.
Most coins don't have a specific use-case, not like tokens. New coins tend doesn't have any value yet, with asking about the use-case, I bet you plan to hold the mined coins - Isn't it?

I often doin' old coins solo mining, find out coins info such as Network Hashrate, Block Reward, Block Time, Buy Support, etc. Coinwarz or Whattomine is a pretty good place to find technical coins info.

Back in 2014, we GPU miners would set alerts when a new ANN was created. Then we would download the wallet and start mining the coin ASAP. Most coins released in 2014 were Scrypt. And almost all of them had a low difficulty at first so if you were early you could basically instamine a bunch of coins.

Most of these coins were almost always listed on major exchanges like Bittrex or Poloniex. Usually in a day or two. And if you were quick you could of net 2-5x more profit from mining Dogecoin/Litecoin which was the dominated GPU coin back in those days.

These days… forget it. Most coins are tokens on the ERC20 network using Ethereum. Nothing to mine anymore.

I remember the days of spec mining as soon as a new coin was announced. Jumping into the discords and ensuring everything was optimized to mine as much as possible. I kind of miss those days. Now everything is ERC-20 or BEP-20. Takes alot of the fun out of mining. I guess we shall see where the next few months and years take us.

Yes, I agree with you!
I remember with warmth the days when mining on video cards was in vogue, new interesting coins appeared and it was possible to make good money.
It was an exciting and exciting time!
The current newcomers, apart from tokens, who have not seen anything, will not understand.
