as you said, eth is always worth it to buy if it is intended for the long term, but indeed when compared to the past few months, of course it will be very late to enter because eth is back again and almost to the initial price different from a few months ago.
but in the long run this coin is very worth it and always worth it to buy because it can be said that eth is one of the pretty good altcoins right now

Don't wait for the dip. If you can afford to buy ether now, then go ahead and buy. Keep holding for long term and you will be making some nice profit. People still say Ether is still undervalued. Some predict it can easily reach $10,000 during a bull run. Better to invest in Eth instead of investing in some shitcoins. Put most of your money in bitcoin and then ethereum. Make sure you store them safely and then forget about them for years. Come back and enjoy your profit.

For long term investment yes, but for middle and short term, its not the perfect time yet, IMHO. Better wait Ethereum 2.0 launch and bring good market movement, its probably will hit $10K. As a side note, Ethereum has already hit $4k in its past run, so I think it would be easy to hit $10k, if 2.0 was released and got some good market sentiment.

The fee isn't cheap to buy Ethereum right now. So if you're buying it through swaps and dexes, be ready to prepare that you have to pay a lot of fees. But if you're going buy that in centralized exchanges, you're still not spared from the high fees that you'll have to pay when you're about to withdraw.
I've checked the fee a few days ago and I have to pay $17 and that's really a lot considering that funds to be withdrawn isn't a lot.
