In my point of view, NFT-games are not so hot like they were a month ago, and it is difficult to predict what trend will be the next. I think that projects on Polkadot will attract many attention from investors, so it might be a real hype, so maybe you should also take Polkadot into account  and the fact that parachains' auctions are about to start.

I’ve been in defi for a while. I love SOL, ADA and ETH. My new favorite defi network is NEAR. NEAR is fast and easy to use and the community is amazing. When I was to the project they walked me through everything. NEAR is built by a team of world class developers and it’s backed by huge VC’s like Pantera Capital and Coinbase.

For me I suggest to look into spiritswap dex. Its a project under the fantom umbrella, and seems could do a very big potential in the future most likely same with what pancakeswap did. The only difference its residi ng on fantom opera chain where ftm is their ecosystem. Im not recommending it to some beginner since everything in defi is quite dangerous or risky. But I assure you this platform will be one of the top tier projects in the future.

I won't drop specific project but rather I will give pointers on how to spot a good DeFi project so that you can decide for yourself and not through the shill of other user here. It's better to always do your own research.

Pointers:

1.) Check if the idea of the project is unique and not a copycat of other project. DeFi is very famous so there's a lot of scammy project that usually just copy other famous project for easy hype. You can check the launch date of each project for comparison.

2.) Check the VC that supporting the project. Good project is always supported by a very reputable VC such as bluzilla, sequoia and Almeda research . But there still a lot of famous VC out there for you to decide.

3.)Lastly, Make sure that the team behind it has an impressive portfolio and verified.

I'm bullish about a new DeFi called wapswap. They are doing something different from the regular defi projects. Most of the Defis just launches, promises unrealistic yields, lets its token crash with farming and launch on a different platform. Wapswap is going to maintain the price of it's token the same on different platforms. And comparing it with the popular max supplied defit token from Biswap, Wapswap has a max supply of just 21 million while BSW is maxxed at 700 million.

DeFi is one of the ecosystems in crypto that will survive and continue to grow. The ecosystem in DeFi is now increasingly interesting with the presence of many projects for problem solutions in crypto. This is something I could definitely back 100%. It is certainly true that UNI is something that I highly suggest to be on top of the defi world right now. I am not saying that it is the best token, all I am saying is that it is allowing the defi world to get shaped and that is a very important job.

As long as we have DeFi world following what UNI is doing (or Cake sometimes) then we are going to be able to make the most profit from UNI token first and then whatever else follows. This is why I have increased my UNI and Cake holdings like crazy during this year, it was both profitable but also very scary considering they are relatively new. Hopefully it will get better with time but so far they have been great.

No one can guarantee which defi projects need attention and study, even too many to follow all of them, try to open coinecko which will make it easier for you to analyze, I'm not so sure about defi projects for now, but don't forget that scams will be easy if we don't master every thing we want to join and I'm not saying defi project is a scam, but choose wisely every project we want to join.

Sovryn and The Standard. Sovryn is the defi for Bitcoin. It is in its Alpha Version which has still big room for improvements. Aside from that, it is also undervalued in compared to what other defi has created. It created what Ada was promising for years in just a month so its clear that the team is very knowledgeable.

The standard in the other hand is creating a Golden standard again for DeFi. The protocol will allow you to create a algorithmic stablecoin that is backed by BTC or any other assets that is approved by its DAO community.

I think there are some good projects for the future but I prefer pancake swap.
