And why he decided to create this thread? Why he doesn`t want just to wait or to contact with the support privately? I don`t see any reason for Stake to help OP in any way. May be my example is rough enough but the main idea is true. If Stake will help to one thread - next user will not wait but will create a new same thread.
As per Stake's ToS, OP is within his rights to make a withdrawal request even if he is self excluded. Self exclusion is meant to help gamblers with their gambling problems by preventing them from placing bets. But it doesn't give the casino the right to confiscate your money.
OP did contact their customer support but they denied his request, obviously because of their ignorance of their own terms! So what should he wait for?
Anyway, I suppose his case was resolved since he hasn't been active here for days.

As i see it was the OP mistake. I don`t understand why Stake have to return his balance? The next step will "i made wrong bet, give me my money back"? There are rules, OP accepted with these rules, no problem. If Stake will say "ok, let do as he wants" - tomorrow it will be 10-20-100 OP telling the same and "you did it once, why don`t you want to do it again?"
The example you are giving does not really match the situation of the OP, in the case of a bet that can be proven to be completely fair then there is nothing to do and we must accept the outcome, in this case he did not lost his capital he just lost access to it due to the self-exclusion rules at Stake, one easy way to deal with this will be to simply wait until the self-exclusion ended, but it seems the OP did not wanted that so the other option is to contact the customer service at stake and ask for a manual withdrawal.

Huh And? What would be wrong with that? It's the gambling section here, it should be dedicated to real gambler questions and issues, and not to bounty posters. As khaled0111 said this feature is intended to help customers to protect their funds, then it would be dishonest and hypocritical to confiscate them because the customer had just forgot something before requesting his self-exclusion.

We all make some mistakes by misreading a piece of information so that is just natural, probably the OP created this thread for the very same reason he could not wait for his self-exclusion to end, he is simply an impatient person and he wanted the opinion of the community about the subject, even if it was clear that it was more simple to resolve this through the appropriate channels that Stake has prepared for these kind of eventualities.

Not everyone knows everything, if you don't know anything just ask that is why the forum is here and even stake appointment representative to handle such things such like every other platforms. When you are frustrated seeking guidance about what to do is a wise choice than doing everything on their own.

That's right, he would not be able to get sympathy from the community as the rules were very clear and stake as a company cannot make an exemption to violate their rules just because one of their clients' asked for it or think that it's unjust. honestly speaking I have a habit of always forgetting to read the casinos TOS before creating an account, I think that my flaw is something that most people also have, when a person needs to create an account urgently, the person simply forget to read TOS before creating account. in my case as I don't use VPN and I always put my real data and I don't have problems with KYC, I can do it whenever the casino wants me to do it so I don't read the TOS, but I need to start reading the TOS before creating an account
