As OP is not regularly active on this forum, I guess escrowing at least one week of campaign rewards will be more appropriate.

It would be too good if not enforcing about wearing of signature/avatar/personal-text until the official commencement of this campaign. (One week time for selection process is understandable but for a new campaign and without escrow, I guess free promotions for a week time, should be a concern).

Not asking for any free promotion here. Wearing sig and avatar to be accepted is not required.
I'll check with the team if they want to go for escrow but participants can be reassured that there's budget for the 4 weeks.

If participants are fine without escrow then let them be, However escrowing at least one week payment and hiring a campaign manager (unless you are hired as a manager) will attract good posters in this campaign since the pay rate looks very good.

I am okay even without an escrow. The payment is paid each week, so we can see that the payment is successful or not. However, if it is possible to have an escrow, it will be better.

Or... you will hire a manager that at the same time a trusted manager that can hold the campaign fund, ^[@Hhampuz]

The amount is quite big for four weeks. I am assuming your fund hasn't been escrowed with you. So in case of any incident, you might fall into a problem since you are the manager.
So, for your safety, force the team to use an escrow service.

I'm the campaign manager. I collaborate with the Mintlayer team and they asked me to initiate the campaign, but we have several people helping me with the job.

We are just waiting to fill names in the spreadsheet because we are carefully evaluating every participant. We also want to have a good distribution of posts in different languages and participants that are particularly strong in different topics. Pay rate is good, we also expect really good posts and ROI.

Regarding the escrow, we want to emphasize that Mintlayer development is run by a company - supported by numerous VCs - and is a regulated project. Also, the issuance of the MLT token is regulated and approved by the Republic of San Marino (a national State). You may also check that this Bitcointalk campaign is official asking about it in the official channels (website, telegram group, twitter etc.).

Internal company policies about security and reliability aren't exactly aligned with the idea of handing down bitcoins in custody to an anonymous user of Bitcointalk. Despite good feedbacks and reputation, accidents may occur, especially if on the other side there's a single person rather than an entity following strict protocols.

Instead of custody, we could be fine with a multisignature escrow 2/2 with a third party, where funds can be returned to our wallet in case the third party signature is missing. I also realize that the organization could be particularly annoying when it comes to create the batch transaction to pay all the users, since it would require a lot of coordination with that third party. There are escrow services prepared to do that? Please let us know.

Do you believe that multisig will protect campaign participants from frustration if Mintlayer doesn't want to pay? There are dozens of people on this forum whose reputation has been proven over the years, so if you want to conduct a really successful campaign you should be more flexible and not press for the forum to be flexible for you. For example, at one time I used SFR10's escrow service, and entrusted this user with about $ 18,000 (campaign payment for 4 weeks). He took an extremely small commission from me for his services and processed all the multipayments that I requested in time.

I don't know if you are aware of the current situation in local boards, but Chinese and Japanese (that will be counted towards signature quota) are practically dead boards for quite some time, while some that are not included like Portuguese, Filipino and Croatian are consistently among the most active ones. You might wanna take a look at Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity to see the situation in the last ~year and a half.

Multisignature could be alternative way for escrow, but you would still need to prove ownership of addresses holding funds (maybe with signed messages),
and you would personally be responsible with your reputation if campaign turns into spam fest that is not properly moderated or if rewards are not paid by Mintlayer team.
On the other note, I would also agree with Rikafip that hiring members from Japanese local board is silly, when there are other boards that are much more active in forum.
