Confused About what to do with a Pump and Dump token HODL/SELL

I am a little bit confused about what to do what a token that I am currently holding. the token has been pumping since Octuber the first. i sold half of it in September. currently the token has done over 500% since the beginning of Octuber. i am wanted to buy more but I know it is not advisable  to buy when the marketing is pumping. I know. What is your suggestion on this project. i know the price will go down. the more I wait the more the price raises. The token isGOMA.

Sell the majority of your stack, and maybe keep some Tokens to see what will happen.
At the end of the game you are doing it well if you have more bitcoins than before, NOT shitcoins.

What he meant is that while he knows that price will eventually dump, it keeps going up while he is waiting, so he is not sure whether to wait a little bit more, or sell the rest.


@OP with the evidence provided by @Jawhead999, I think its pretty much clear what you should do, and that means sell remaining tokens. Don't be greedy and simply take the profit. What you could eventually do is to keep small portion as a moon bag, if you really want to see how much up can it go, but looking at the chart, dump is bound to happen any day now.

I agree with Jawhead999. Traders have a target for each trade, I want to believe you have in mind a selling range for this token. Do not expect too much from pump and dump tokens. Sell off while you can, you already made profits don't be greedy.  Buying the pump is not advisable. Secondly there is a scam accusation against the team on the forum. That should show you where their credibility stand. If a company can shamelessly deny payments to bounty hunters who worked for them they can easily do the same in any other case.

It is better to do your own research rather than asking for an advice in financial matters. As per my research it is another shit token which is pumping like other token. Not sure how long it will pump but if you are happy with the profit then sell majority stake and leave some for the future. Be careful these tokens do get dump suddenly.

I will think of Bitcoin as a newbie from the beginning, but from the OP thought I don't think he/she is excited about Bitcoin, I think the person is an investor that keeps trying alt-coins and always want to gain profit short term from it, like you said about gambling, I think the OP don't understand how insecure he/she is with Goma coin than Bitcoin, investors looking for quick term profits from uncertain tokens like Goma should make preparation for lose.

Although I have no idea what kind of weird pumping is currently happening with the GOMA token, I tend to agree with the majority of the members here. A scam accusation from a reputable bounty manager is never a good thing. The topic mentioned by Jawhead999 seems to suggest that the GOMA team is incompetent and/or dishonest and that they haven't fulfilled their obligations to bounty participants and their manager.

@BayAngelo, I would dump most of the tokens if I were you. Of course, it's possible that the token will pump even harder, but you can never be sure. A rug pull is inevitable at some point.

that's what i have to say, when new tokens are pumped and you're too late to buy. don't buy, no matter what. You're late and there's no second chance. remember this. judging by your case, you hesitate and sell it. and you still want to buy because you see the potential of the pump in the future. this is a big mistake, you will lose if you think about buying in such a situation. better not try to take the risk, after all you already get the profit.

If you think the token you are holding is pump and dump token,  you should get rid of it as soon as you can because such token may plummet considerably and you would probably be left with a bag depending on how heavy you went in! There should be no room for attachment to such token,  you should get rid of it asap!

You're still holding 50% in your wallet and why should you feel worry about that? you can also divide your 50% to be sold again at the peak price and waiting for the dump to come again soon. As far as i know this token has very bad reputation caused by it was deceiving people who have been working with it.

You can still use the rest of your token for long term if you believing in this project but buy back when the price was so high was not advisable. You can try to use your money to buy a new token that has the same potential with it. This is a better thing that can be done by you rather than try to bet your money to buy at peak price. What will be happening when it will be going down to the bottom again. You will get double loss.

In order to avoid such dilemmas in the future, you should set your investment goal in advance. When the price of a coin becomes very dynamic, greed can get you down.
In this situation, I would advise you to now set the upper and lower level of the price for which you want to sell this coin and implement this plan.

its a actually a good idea to buy while pumping because it will increase your profits percentage , but keep on eye on the growth rate if it will increase more or not as well if you don't want to lose your money from the volatility.. It happen to me actually and it's like i give money to someone without return.. Lol  so be careful mate..

Don't be greedy, when the token is being pumped, we better sell it and stop for a moment to look at it. Turn your attention to other tokens that you can still buy, return to the initial token if the price has been dumped.

The respective token have got good trading volume. So, if you're planning to hold/buy more GOMA keep trading it occasionally. Everyone won't be lucky to profit out of such dump and pump tokens. There were more similar cryptocurrencies that was valueless in the beginning, but over a period of continued development make the market pump high. Think of different factors associated with the particular token before investing further.

If you have partially sold it and have made a profit then I don't think you should buy it back when you don't see a good move. Because after doing the pump about 500% obviously needs another big boost. Since this belongs to the Shitcoin group I doubt if you hold it in the long term but seeing the prospect of this token it will not return at all with the same increase. Such is the risk of playing on Shitcoin you only need to play while given the opportunity and then as hard as possible.

If you are worried about holding those coins for any longer but at the same time you are worried of leaving profits over the table then it is possible the best solution here is a compromise, basically sell half of your remaining holdings, this way if the price goes down then you have secured a part of those profits and if the price keeps going up then you also still have some coins that allow you to benefit from it, it is not the optimal solution but I think it is the best one you can hope to execute.

You are currently on profit, This is not dilemma that you need to worry about. Sell it in tranches and just retain a percentage of token that you are willing to risk/lose. Don't buy back on the token that pump so hard unless it already finished the correction phase. Actually you are doing good since you are still holding half of your tokens. Don't FOMO if you are having a profit, It's much painful holding a token because you are losing its value rather than taking profit while the coin still pump. Profit is a profit and no one can predict the exact price when it will reverse the market.
