Confused About what to do with a Pump and Dump token HODL/SELL

Just avoid what @Jawhead999 found is enough to prove that they are not professional in the campaign so I think in the future this is not good and the token price could fall deeply because of the actions of the team.

Don't be tempted because the 500% increase could be hype created by the team, I know the market capitalists are quite large but I still doubt it with the GOMA token.

If you have made a profit and have leftovers in your pocket, it is better to sell it and look for more potential tokens.

The coin is already up 500%. You are saying its a pump and dump token (aka shitcoin). Then why are you even asking if you should invest more right now? That would be plain stupid thing to do. The price will dump soon and you will lose most of what you have invested. You might be thinking that why not just hold till it gets pumped again? Here is the problem, it might never get pumped again and die. Stop investing in those shitcoin and tokens. It's not worth the risk.

When there is a situation like this one then you sell because there is a proof that they are a scam and you need to get out as quickly as possible. However, if there is a situation where it is a pump and dump token but it is not a token that is obvious scam (could fail anyway even when it is not a scam) then you could still make a profit from it and holding wouldn't be a bad situation.

There are so many decent tokens, then why would you care for a pump and token one? I mean if you could end up with something that is decent like bitcoin but lower then you should invest into something like that and not invest into something that is dangerous like a pump and token one.

I saw the goma token on coinmarketcap and saw the journey of the goma token from the start of the launch to the present, even goma doesn't have great potential in the future. why are you still holding on to the goma token if it's clear that goma doesn't have any potential. leave and put your assets in potential coins

Sell around 50% and get some money back, then set a trailing stop loss wide enough not to get you stopped out of the trade but not too wide that it eats way too much of your profit.  Enjoy the ride.

I don't know why you should even ask, pump and dump tokens are not exactly the kind of project you would want to keep long term, so if you already made some profit sell without wasting much time, if not you will be the one who will lose later, better to sell and buy projects worth holding for long term.

Goma Shiba Inu? I have seen a scam accusation thread about Goma, Most provably this project team deceived with bounty hunters. I would not like to recommend it for long term hold because it’s a pump and dump shit coin. If you will get profit right not than i think you should sell 80% token and 20% hold if doesn’t big effect after that.

You are currently on profit, This is not dilemma that you need to worry about. Sell it in tranches and just retain a percentage of token that you are willing to risk/lose. Don't buy back on the token that pump so hard unless it already finished the correction phase. Actually you are doing good since you are still holding half of your tokens. Don't FOMO if you are having a profit, It's much painful holding a token because you are losing its value rather than taking profit while the coin still pump. Profit is a profit and no one can predict the exact price when it will reverse the market.

It is obviously a better problem to have than to be losing money because the coin in which you invested is dumping but it is still a problem, after all if he sells to soon he may lose a lot of potential profits that may come up after selling and obviously no one wants that to happen to them, as I suggested before I think the best path for the OP is to just sell part of his coins, this way he keeps most of the profits he already got while still having the potential of huge profits in the future.

Try to check out their updates/developments etc. because you could really see if there still really possibility of pump if it goes well and of course you would need to check out if its real or just showing off or simply fake.

When it comes to pump and dump then this is really something a risky involvement with altcoins because once you do step your foot into the market then you should be aware on how to get out

it doesnt matter if it pumps even more and have regrets that you should need to get in then better stop that thinking because you would really be caught in the dump.Just be thankful on what you had gained.

When I'm also in that situation, I'll move on and sell if there's still a sellable amount. I wouldn't hold it anymore if I see that it's no longer worth it and it's just going to take most of my time thinking if it's worth it or not. There are instances that we have to decide outrightly so that we can proceed to another decision that will make us prosper and leave the one that ties us up so that we can't proceed. It's normal to move on when you still have the coin and sometimes you're thinking if it's going to go up later or tomorrow.

Selling half amount from the total amount is enough for you to take your profit, especially if you can sell at a high price. You do not have to buy the coin if you know that coin is a pump and dump scheme because you do not know when the price will get a pump or even dump.

The token is available on PancakeSwap, Dodo BSC, and ZT and not in the major exchange so it may get difficult to sell at another high price. With your profit before, you should search for the other coins rather than still choose that token because that will be unpredicted when the price increases again.

you don't have to rush to get into the pumping market, you have to do some research beforehand whether the pump is made by a pump group or there is something great that the project is launching, you need to look deeper to research it, you can multiply the amount of your coin supply by selling half your funds when the price is pumped and waiting to buy it again when it's cheap

Do not get trapped in this type of typical pump and dump drama.

What is the volume of the token in the exchange you are following? And in how many exchanges that token was listed and being actively traded? I guess such type of tokens most probably will be traded on only one exchange and its dev alone keep buying and selling to lure naive investors and traders.

If you are already in profits and you are still holding then keep watch your profits growing for your another half of holding.

Always invest with reputed coins and tokens. Even you participant in any bounty programs then if you are not convinced by their development then go encashing your rewards and never look back. This way you may lose one or two good projects but this will save you from most other scammy projects.

When dealing up with low cap or cheap coins then always have this consideration because this had been always the case for someone to experience on which you might really be caught on the peak.

And if that happens then you would be ending up on holding for too long and stressing out yourself whether those coins would be able to recover or would totally died in that case.

Therefore, its on someones risk taking thing because not all would really be ready on doing that.
