We don’t know when it’s going to be, even bitcoin has been struggling around $58k levels and we don’t know whether it will get pass $70k level before the year is over. Most of the altcoins hasn’t been doing well at all and they are finding it difficult to get to the point of staying at half of their ATH price. So we can’t tell at all what and when it’s going to be. Maybe the month of December will bring about some changes in the market? We just can’t even tell. I was looking forward to Bitcoin crossing seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) but that wasn’t achieved. A lot of altcoins has even been going down.

It won't depend on price, in my viewpoint it will depend on how the market or charts ultimately develop. Typically, cryptocurrencies will increase in value along with Bitcoin. If we look at the past, we can see that after some time, alts follow BTC. But since we cannot know what will occur tomorrow or the day after, all we can do is stay informed and gain knowledge from our experiences.

It's not about the price at all, if the market graph having significantly huge pump or crypto gets big news in just matter of days on almost all cryptocurrencies then for sure we are having a crypto season starting at that time. Just imagine if the price just rises about $100 on Bitcoin but we would have already in altseason already just because the requirements I just said earlier is met at that day.

And if we admit the possibility when the whales will overflow from bitcoin to altcoins, it’s possible, right? I'm not saying that it will be so, but such an option, among others, is possible. Altcoins are liked because of the volatility, not because they are expected to be stable. I mean bitcoin is "stable enough" compared to other coins in the crypto world which means that we shouldn't really be focusing on anything else. Just focus on the crypto world and how you could make a profit from it and you would be able to actually pull a profit from the volatile altcoins.

I personally do not prefer that, I do not risk my money with those volatile altcoins but I have seen many people do it and make profits and seen many who lost as well. I believe that the best thing you could do is buy bitcoin as much as you can and hold it as long as you can.

I think many altcoins we have now move along with Bitcoin so it all depends on the altcoin we are holding or trading. All altcoins do not move the same way all everything always depend of the project team if they have what it takes to make more investors to keep holding there coin or keep investing in that project.
 The market is becoming unpredictable now for investors and no one want to make loses from trading or holding a particular coin that is we the market seems very silent with better movement.
 Bitcoin is not moving well too so.it had affected all altcoins from having the optimum momentum that will keep them moving.

Yeah, altcoin season have started last time and I think that's when the price of btc reached $23k. This seems unexpected because that price was still low but usually we think alts season will start when the bull run starts or when btc surpassed it's previous all time high. What if it's not really btc who triggered the alt season? Because, there is also eth on the side that is doing great and some of us are thinking that it was the fault of eth and as we can see, btc is falling again while the momentum for most altcoins are still there.

I am not complaining about this but it was nice actually since we can now worry less. We can make profits in the side with the help of alts while we can stock up more btc.

First we need to have some sort of bitcoin rush to start the altcoin one. As long as bitcoin stays this way we are not going to see alts move at all.

But the moment bitcoin breaks this cycle and moves above 30k, that means money will start pouring into crypto world again and even though it will mostly end up with bitcoin and maybe a few select coins, there will be a bit of money going into smaller ones as well and considering their marketcap is lower, that small amount is actually a good big amount for them and I feel like it would make some sense for people to increase the price of those coins too. But like I said, it has to start with bitcoin first, then it can move on.
