Hello.

As part of a small workshop I'm preparing (and also using to learn), I'm searching for the best an most known solutions that a merchant has to integrate LN in their businesses.

So, I already know about LNBits, BTCPay Server and OpenNode for software solutions and I know about a couple of hardware solutions.
My goal is to create a small presentation where I tell people about the most known and user-friendly solutions to integrate LN into any business and superficially explain how they work.

I've been watching some videos about the 3 solutions I mentioned above, but I believe those are only software solutions.
I also want to know about hardware such as receipt printers (if special ones are needed exclusively for LN), PoS systems, etc.

I'm just starting, so I don't know much about it yet. I would appreciate some tips and some names that I can start searching for. I think that if I take advantage (in a good sense) of other people's knowledge, I can spare tons of hours searching the web, watching useless videos, taking the risk of reading misleading articles, etc.

Thanks
dkx

For the most part they all 3 are designed to be 'integrated' into an existing store / shop/ PoS they are not stores in a box, more like a credit card terminal.
All of them can be setup to work with WooCommerce  / Shopify / BigCommerce /many others

So depending on what you are using it with would more dictate what else you need in terms of hardware.

Unless I am not understating what you are trying to do.

Hi.
Yes I understand what they are. What I want to know and maybe take advantage of other's knowledge is about other solutions that might worth to mention or research about that can fit a simple and superficial presentation about the subject. I want to let local merchants know of these solutions, show them that, if they are interested, they can easily integrate LN payments in their businesses, etc. But I don't want to go too technical because that usually tends to scare people away. And I want to be as inclusive as possible, so if younger entrepreneurs can get along easier with the new techs, probably elder people will struggle way more, so I want to "keep it as simple as possible".

I have already watched the tutorial video about that offline LN payament terminal that was posted here in this forum but that is probably a bit overkill for a first approach on an un-educated (this word probably doesn't even exist Smiley ) audience.

Not sure if helpful, but almost the entire network of Bitcoin merchants in Arnhem (the original Bitcoin City) use Bitkassa for LN payments (itself located in Arnhem). The community is very accessible on Telegram if you want to reach out. It's not bad in terms of tx activity (minus Covid period still in recovery as shops themselves had to close down), so clearly people are using there (stats here).

That said, I put my full weight behind BTCPay Server any day all day, albeit only from impressions of their work and the support people seem to be willing to put in for it.
