It is not necessary but depending on the course itself it could be helpful or damaging. I've seen guides on the internet about trading that were only misleading newcomers specially if they are focusing on cryptocurrency trading.
You mostly need to know the basics which can be found anywhere from investopedia website to youtube. Then all you need is experience which can only be gained by making trades.

You mean to take a course that you will have to pay someone for? That is not necessary. There are may trading sites that offer free help by providing articles, it will be like that also on forex but I am specifically talking about crypto trading. A good example is binance that offers you articles on free videos on their site to know the basics of trading, but this is not what will let you make profit but to know the technical aspects only, like pooya87 said, you need experience to be able to make profit, beginners are more vulnerable to lose, use the amount you can afford to lose to trade.

What is the cost of taking any course, 50 dollars, 100, thousand? You will make a lot of profit if the course is useful.
The problem is that the price of Bitcoin is difficult to predict and does not follow the same traditional models.
But in general, learning something is better than going into the trade without knowing, and a lot of the content is free and you can learn it from YouTube.
Bitcoin is linked to studying previous models and finding support areas, so a little experience may bring you some profits.

Is it really necessary to take a course before getting into trading?

I think the result will be better, but I do not recommend. I entered trading in the market self-taught, with the help of some of my old friends. So I don't spend money to pay for the course. There are many tutorials and patterns on google now. I think you have enough to learn and look for the source. Orher that i think do you have a friend who invites you to trade, then ask him. Once you feel you understand you can enter the market. Besides that, I think you can use this forum as a means of learning to trade, because in this forum everything about crypto is thoroughly discussed.

Is it really necessary to take a course before getting into trading?
Absolutely, it is very important to get trading courses before you start anything! Trading for the first time is like learning car driving, you can only be instructed on how the car works and you can easily understand it, but if you are given to drive it,  you can cause accidents because you understand the instructions but you still have no experience with driving!

That's the way it is in trading, you can only be given regular instructions and understand some things but if you enter the markets you will have a much higher risk of losing more than making a profit! Unless you will decide to learn first maybe for one week/month by looking for a good trading course and then practicing what you learned, you will have a much higher chance of making a profit than a loss.

Trading is profitable for a person with patience, set aside time, study trading, start trading and you will make a profit!

At least before entering into trading you must really understand crypto. Don't just come from and follow your friends because it's a trend, it's things like this that will catch you off guard and eventually fall into a loss. Markets are unpredictable or even impossible but it never hurts to try and forget things and memories. You have to stick with the initial goals that have been designed before, don't waste them because they are valuable.

Is it really necessary to take a course before getting into trading?
its up you if you can afford taking course, but if not probably the good way is to make research first what are the most important things to know about trading, make a list and learn it one by one, infact all the information can be found in the internet, just invest time for it ..
Btw for me the best alternative way is watching tutorials because on that way you can easily follow the process especially how to apply those tools in trading.. Just start with demo account, then follow those tutorials around the internet for sure you can obtain idea how trading really works.. Remember skills and knowledge is the most important in it. So make it as your priority wherein don't rush your situation..

It really depends on what you mean by course or what you  course in trading. If you mean going to school as undergraduate to study and learn how to trade  Grin I'm not sure you will get such discipline in the university or tertiary institutions. What you will get at such places are causes like marketing, economics at least and with those related causes you can understand demand and supply, need, want, scale of preference etc. As far as I know, trading is the real life experience of buying and selling and not theory anymore. So knowledge in economics can also help you in trading .

But basically online trading is practical with its own terminologies like  stop loss, take profit, indicators and many other stuffs that you need to know while being a trader. You don't need to learn those in tertiary institutions but maybe as a starter you can go for training with someone for few days just to know at least how to start the proper learning by yourself because you actually would need to relearn by yourself no matter the initial training you may get either from seminars or whatever videos you watch. Is a good ride if you build interest in it and don't decide to chicken out almost immediately you start losing.

Considering the mega threads being made on the topic how peeps lost their lifetime savings in blink of an eye and seeking for trading help, I think you do need a lesson before you can jump in. There is no way you can have it as income source if you dont adopt plenty skills about it. Getting into trading might look as simple as buying at low and selling at high, booking the profits and done! Well, things are worst when you actually start trading. You get to see big troubles along the way because trading is huge ocean and endless tricks and tips are happening all the time. You need to understand the market in perfect way to work with it. It moves and behaves based on fundamentals and technical aspects all the time. You need to be updated with the commodity which you investing in, need to study it carefully to make good fortune.

Take the lessons before you start anything serious.

A proper guideline always help to learn everything easily. So in this case a complete course by a good trader is a nice option to start trading. But without a guidelines success will not come this is not true. So having a course is not necessary to start trade. But if you have any option then why not?

A demo account can be your course to teach you all the required things.
Yeah I am not kidding, you can practice and learn simultaneously to gain real time experience as well.

I agree that you can go for any cause to get ready for crypto trading but that is not a mandatory one. You can learn by yourself by making use of online materials but when people are trying like this, they may not be dedicated and not serious about what they are doing which is the main reason why most people are suggesting about getting into any paid courses.

Is it really necessary to take a course before getting into trading?
You need knowledge, how do you get that knowledge makes almost no difference as long as you do not spend too much money on the sources, the Internet is full of information that is available for free for those that want to learn how to trade, and anything else they may want, you just need to take the time to actually do it, however if you feel more comfortable taking a course then you can do that, however the information you can receive in those courses is limited and you will need to supplement it with what you can read online.

Is it really necessary to take a course before getting into trading?
Of course not. The only thing you need to have is a head on your shoulders that can help you make reasonable decisions.

Yes, it is useful to have prior knowledge but you've got to make start somewhere. As long as you're quick and can adapt you can start your trading experience without having to spend money on a course, though to do well it is recommended to use the range of free available resources out there. Good luck

Is it really necessary to take a course before getting into trading?
No.

But there can be some lessons that you can have by taking a shortcut of having a course. Although not all of what they say are for real and applicable to you.

If you want to take it and pay for it, I'll just use the budget for that course to start my own trading experience.

Its not necessary but actually it somehow helpful to you but make sure you avail those courses on legit coaches but I don't know if there's someone exist like this since I myself didn't grab those offered by any of them, or maybe simply grab some vids on youtube since there are quality contents right there about trading's and for sure from there you can get the information you like to know but also be careful on some videos since there are also content created just to hype certain coins so be cautious on what you are searching and make sure you watch the informational and not the hoax one.

Is it really necessary to take a course before getting into trading?
If it is available that would be your advantage. Having a deep understanding of trading is very helpful, especially in decision-making and taking some courses is somewhat helpful but for now, we can do a lot of things on the internet and we can gather ideas from there as well. if you were not lazy to do searches, that probably you don't need to take courses but instead, it is better to make it in actual trading as there you can learn more.

I can share my experience here, I learnt trading on multiple platforms and multiple ways. Some people are more comfortable to learn on taking a course, so for me, it is always depends.
Some people too are also competent when they are learning on the paid course, while some people are intended to learn for free and anything that is free.
So, your choice here now, for me, there are a lot of free materials these days over the internet to learn something, especially in Trading.

It's not really necessary to learn from a paid course because if you come to think of it, the materials that they are teaching just comes from the internet and you can see a lot in there for free. So if you can be more resourceful, you can learn all those basics in trading for free. The rest of the things will only be learned once you got into real trading because you have to develop all of them through your varied experiences. So either you learned from a paid course or not, what will matter in the end is the skills and strategies that you will only develop once you are starting to gain those real trading experiences.

Not necessarily. I guess you can just consider it something that is useful in having an earlier better understanding of the terminologies and whatnot of what you use at trading. Trading by the end of the day is still something that would require you to actually experience and understand since it's filled with a lot of intricacies that a course lesson about trading would probably never tackle or even if they did, would not really be the same as experiencing it yourself. Besides, everything is literally there on the internet, it's just a matter of you actually finding it.
