it's better to sell it and try to take profit on another coin, right now the price of Doge has fallen so deep and there has never been a move back high like it used to be again I don't think Doge coin is good to hold for long.

Dogecoin is only a temporary toy and that's clear because the pump on Dogecoin only comes once and that's because there are a few reasons so that the price can increase, while the rest is only a decrease.

No sane investor or trader buy a coin, stock or commodity at ATH, they rather sell at ATH. Warren Buffett once said that it is wise for investors to be "fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful."
Doge ATH is 0.70$, right now its around 0.2$ and trading at number 10 at CMC. IMO it still has the potential to go up, at least near to its ATH if not surpassing it. I suggest keep it and sell if you find price around 0.5$. There are bright chances of alt coins going up since BTC is over 60k.

It was best to find a way in which you can make money out of meme coins. Not know if Dogecoin will hot back for another hype after Elon Musk is done shilling it. We never have to expect that it makes a rally again, yeah, ATM Dogecoin getting back to its normal position like before and if you are buying this during the hypes, you can no longer make any returns from this even you will hold for many years unless if you got lucky if there is someone could influence and manipulate the price once again. But I'm worried there is none and you just lose.

Respectable! There are situations on the crypto market, the price has jumped to the old ATH level then goes back to the original price, better to place a limit orders near the main target in order not to miss such opportunities, IMHO. Pumped coins are worth to invest if you know the real potential behind the pump and project.

Depending on the time span and the value of your portfolio, whether it is drastically reduced or only a few percent, you can still anticipate and do CL. because most of the traders already bought due to Fomo. Many phenomena occur with Dogecoin buyers. Until they didn't notice that it had a big risk with a huge loss as well.
If you really want to know the losses and manage them again, you already know the losses to be made.

I think most of those who hold DOGE have invested because of the hype caused by Elon Muska's tweets. I doubt most of them would know what difference is between DOGE and BTC apart from the name.
Answering your question, why DOGE will not reach $1 - It will not happen, because for DOGE to have a price of $1, its capitalization would have to be several times greater than Bitcoin, and this is not possible even in the next few years.

I assume you have a good number of DOGE as you get hyped by that time and you're still trap with a huge loss, for me the best solution on that is to keep on holding and wait for DOGE to create its new all time high because it can still happen, you just have to wait for it so you wont regret selling at a huge loss. DOGE is still the top meme token, so use this as your hope to see DOGE on top price again, bull market will make that happen.

If you're in profit already on Doge, I'd advice you to just book your profit and change to a better optional coin. However, you may still keep some but ensure you've taken off all your capital with at least little profit from it, so you don't curse yourself by the time it dumps again.

I would say that getting out of doge at any price is a good choice.
There are other coins that you could make the loss back so there is really nothing wrong with that.
I personally wouldn't put any money into doge, I would stay away from it and have been staying away from it.

However, if you made a mistake back in the day and got in, there is no reason to keep it there, eventually it will go down more and more, and sure there will be some good times but that doesn't mean that it will stay like that forever. All in all I would get something more decent, get cake and stake it, get uni and stake it, get bitcoin if you want to but stay away from doge.

Well, those who buy at the peak are investors too although, they just overestimated the price too much that's why they were left out. It did happen on Bitcoin during the bull run in 2017, most people are doing FOMO, then there's a FUD about China banning Bitcoin and the market is slowly dropping then almost everyone else follow. Most of the people who can't take their money back sold it at a lower price due to too much stress they can't control their emotion/hodl their coins or they just really need the money.

Anyway, back to the topic, dogecoin is just a memecoin and a hype created by Elon Musk. People should not take it seriously like it's going to bring a lot of fortune in the future like people would really believe that. Besides, don't think crypto as a way to get-rich-quick because it's not how the market works. I think Elon is just laughing at you guys buying to his pumped memecoin.
