connect nano s to avax wallet

     Hi all.  I am trying to move avax funds from an exchange onto my nano s  via avalanche wallet . I have installed avalanche app on nano s [ which is now full ] .When itry to connect i keep getting message ..."  cannot retreive public key from ledger nano s . I have seen others having this issue/message on Reddit but i couldnt solve problem there .    Any ideas please .   ?    thanks for any answers .

You can try sending ledger support email and hope to receive answer before 2022 
I am not using any of this avalanche wallets but I saw on github that ledger is working on avalanche app update that is pending to be reviewed and merged, so maybe that will fix your issue:

This is not exclusively related to the error message you are getting, but you might want to try it out.

This reddit post explains that there are two ways to access the Avalanche wallet:

• Through https://wallet-beta.avax.network/access
• Through https://wallet.avax.network/access

Please check if those sites are genuine yourself. I am only posting what I found and can't guarantee those are the correct sites.
Several users have reported that they fixed access errors by using the beta site. However, the post is from 7-8 months ago and might be outdated by now.

Did you get it all working? The Avalanche wallets currently require version 0.5.3 of the Avalanche app installed on your Ledger Nano S:



Once you have that, you just open the app on your Nano S and then you should be able to open your wallet using either:
https://wallet-beta.avax.network/access
or
https://wallet.avax.network/access

Note, it likely won't work if Ledger Live is still open and running, so make sure you have that closed when trying to access the Avalance website!


I've just tested this and was able to connect and open the wallet OK.
