Key unaudited financial positions (non-IFRS measures) as of 31 March 2024
- The Company remains financially strong with a cash and stablecoin balance of US$291 million.
- Digital assets held on the balance sheet of US$558 million (1). Through multiple recent investments and token launch activities, the Company has added US$266 million of digital assets since December 2023.
- Off-balance sheet token reserves for all Animoca Brands Web3 subsidiaries of approximately US$1.8 billion, which comprise approximately US$1.3 billion in liquid (2) tokens and US$542 million in lower-liquidity (3) tokens.
- This update excludes the value of the Company’s approximately 400 minority investments in Web3 companies, for which valuation work is ongoing.

The Company is working diligently to provide additional financial updates. Audited financial statements for the fiscal year 2021 are in progress, and the Company plans to provide key unaudited financial and business highlights for the full fiscal year 2023 in Q2 2024, subject to any disclosure limitations of the Australian Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).

The funding received will be instrumental in expanding on the goals laid out by The Sandbox, which is to build a decentralized metaverse. It will also improve the income generation capability for the creators with the help of improving its Game Maker and VoxEdit 3D editor tools. It also adds new interactions for avatars, social life, new gameplay with the new multiplayer rules system which is planned for beta release in this year and official release in 2025. Furthermore, The Sandbox is also working on a mobile app version of its metaverse to be released in 2025.

of their assets in escrow, and it's hard to get a hold of an asset that's
already in escrow.

I checked with this and found out that Animoca Brands has been very active, based on the information from their announcements and news coverage. The released investor updates for the quarter ending March 31, 2024, and the fiscal year ended December 31, 2023, that was quite impressive and I hope they keep up that pace. They have ventured into web3 including making their tokens go live on Bitget among several NFT creations and their subsidiary, Open Campus, announced the Codex Hackathon Series with US$1 million in prizes to expand the EDU Chain ecosystem. www.animocabrands.com
