Not sure about stellar, but Polygon (Matic) does have some good use cases. So investing in it might give you some good gains in the future. If you are looking for other altcoins, you may want to have a look at Solana (SOL) and Cardano (ADA). Both of them are currently being actively developed, each providing solution to problem what current top crypto currencies face. Whatever you invest in, make sure you do you own research. And stay away from shitcoins (too many newbie users shilling those shitcoins).

Alt season will see so many of these coins go up that we will probably not end up with anything wrong here. Sure there will be some that will not go up, and there will be some that will even go down while everything is fine, which is rare during alt season but it does happen. However if you do not pick something like that, then you are going to be fine and I believe it is quite possible to pick something that will go up during ATH periods.

All you have to do is stay calm, pick something at least decent, and wait for the alt season to start. That way you will end up with something that is profitable for you, and you will not be losing your money to some shitcoin. Real world application is something that we are expecting from every coin but unfortunately most altcoins are just speculative and what are the coins are attractive to whales getting pumped more easily which easily gets them top rank on coinmarketcap list which again attracts more investors on regular basis. So, all the coins with real utility are not becoming famous and high value but only the coins which are into whales' pump list.

Bitcoin, which is always the dominant one, should also be paired with some of the potential altcoins like ethereum, BNB and Solana. With them , i give you the assurance that you will always be in a good track. And that holding them for long will make you more profitable.

I guess bitcoin alone will be more than enough. What is solana, I have not heard it some 3 to 4 months back but we are seeing it every part of this forum; this way what about the possibilities for another coin to become famous in next month; but for an investor perspective, this will be a big frustration. So, just going with bitcoin will be good in long run.

Yes, we have so many crypto projects that exist but not all of them have the use-case that could carry them to a better future which is a thing we should have to look for as they have the potential gain. While these coins that prompted because of hypes, they soon reveal the truth and only valuable projects remain standing.
