RTX 3080 mining firmware?

Hello,

I bought an RTX 3080 now (ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 V2 OC (LHR)) and want to use it for mining, when I am not gaming.
Do I need a special firmware for mining for that RTX 3080, or is that only the case if you have an RTX 3080 Ti?

These are for me the versions currently that allow you to unlock your LHR cards But before you have to see that it crypto you want to extract profitable or not. DO NOT necessarily go for ETH because it is very profitable but for LHR it is say complicated because of the restriction...

My card is an 3080 LHR. Which Hashratr will I get at ETH?
And which Hashrate will I get with an 3080 non-LHR?
Or will it be the same with the correct miner?

You can get near 70 Mhsh with that card in mining Ethereum after the unlock that is done by quite some miners like T-rex (for me the best for Nvidia cards only),NbMiner and Gminer which are multi GPU miners.

For the non-LHR you can get up to 100 Mhsh or in some specific cases just a bit more,but the average I have seen is 85 Mhsh stock settings and up to 100 Mhsh with tuning the memory and core clock.

It is difficult right now.You can distinguish because of the codes,a good example is Gigabyte which uses Rev 1.0 for non-LHR cards and Rev 2.0 for LHR cards so you can see,if the card you are buying is Rev 1.0 then you are getting a non LHR card and if you see Rev 2.0 you are getting a LHR card.
