I found a news that the Shiba Inu commuity is not happy with Elon Musk. $SHIB crashed after Musk revealed he didn’t own it and only had BTC, ETH and DOGE. Elon Musk has a Shiba Inu puppy at home. Elon Musk has joked about Shiba Inu, but Elon Musk doesn’t hodl Shiba Inu.

Replying to one of the many Shiba Inu accounts on Crypto Twitter, the famous Elon Musk confirmed that he didn’t own Shiba Inu, despite being a highly influential figure for that community.

 I think this will have an effect with the Shiba price but not a big effect because Shiba is still at 0.000042$ at price even if Elon musk revealed he doesn't own Shiba what was your thoughts on this folks?

That is a good lesson to be learned by those who get easily hyped by meme coins. People who want to invest in crypto market should stay away from Elon Musk and his jokes, because after all it always end very bad for investors while Elon drops out without any responsabilities for the mess his jokes cause around.

Shiba investors are complaining a lot and blaming Musk for the recent crash, but nothing can be done anymore, it's too late now. I feel sorry for those who lost money, however nothing different was expected and these investors should have been more careful because we already knew the bad Musk's reputation in crypto universe, as months ago he dumped bitcoin price for speculative reasons.

Seriously who cares about his opinion, he stopped talking negatively about bitcoin in the end because people stopped caring. It just shows how young, new, inexperienced the SHIB community is.

they must realize what this shiba is made for, and this is a lesson to be learned. when the coins are no longer useful, then consciously or not they will be thrown away and a statement from Elon confirms that the shiba is no longer needed by them.

Yeah, I have seen this reply from Elon Musk, If he said "YES" than maybe shiba inu price will skyrocket lol. But unfortunately he didn’t hold shiba inu. Yes, provably this coin holders little bit shocked or disappointed after got this such response. He did tweet a meme related to SHIBA the other day, nothing major will happen but for the SHIBA community to actually be upset about the news, the memecoin is still doing good after a short crash, also, Elon revealed the coins he is holding last 2 months AFAIK, but, I'm pretty sure that he's just here to support the coin and not invest in it, we don't know what Elon's plan is but I'm pretty sure that he'll continue to support the coin.

Elon is playing again, investors are too dumb to follow the hype while Elon is making money from their ignorance.

He can say no or yes, besides he has no legal obligation.
if people still believe in his reputation, then they are playing with the fire here as Shiba would be the next DOGE which will remain stagnant since Elon could always leave a meme coin that he already made a big profit from already.

It's possible that Elon Musk never held a Shiba Inu, and I saw a tweet from the official Shiba Inu account asking Elon Musk to tweet about Shiba. But I'm not following any further developments as to whether Elon Musk does. But I saw after that the price of Shiba started to increase. I think people are taking advantage of Elon Musk's current presence in crypto. And make the names of other world figures who spend large capital in crypto forgotten.

I'd happily believe that he has any of those coins if he turns around and then inversely says that he has any Shib in his portfolio or whatever names he gives. Elon Musk seems to be a joker who cracks a joke during his free time, spare him for whatever he does to try and increase the value of some coins which have the potential to grow slowly and doesn't need his support.

Elon is one of the reasons why Dogecoin (the meme coin) could rise and pump so highly at that time.
And if he revealed that he owns Shib it will replace Doge and maybe that is not his plan. Because probably, he still has some of the other plans to pump Doge again. Investors in SHIBA or even the dev team itself cannot blame Elon Musk, because it was not his idea to talk about it.
It was the marketing team of SHIBA who asked Elon Musk how much SHIBA he have and he replied "none":

Yh, well then the coin shouldn't be so dependent on what people affirm - until now this has only been speculation but now Elon's holdings of this pump meme coin has been confirmed and if this was not seen as oncoming by investors in Shiba Inu then there's nothing much to say other than - next time choose better. Take it as a lesson, learn from it and move on. It is just how it works.

Elon Musk has suddenly become the cheerleader of the cryptocurrency market. The impossible cryptocurrencies have come to impossible prices. He officially mocked people and the investments people made. Currently, he manipulates the cryptocurrency market very well, using both the power of his money and the power of his name. Honestly, I think he manipulates it very well, even on shiba. With this tweet, he caused the shiba to lose value. Then, with these price losses, I think he collected the shiba during this decline. In short, while Elon Musk adds wealth to his wealth with such manipulations, small investors are doomed to lose.

The marketing team took the risk by asking Elon Musk about it. I think they realized what the consequences could be. In my opinion, they made this decision fully consciously. They probably counted on a positive turn of events and a huge increase in price, as in the case of DOGE. Unfortunately, they were wrong. Now they will have to work a lot more to improve SHIBA's image. As we can see, it's not worth taking shortcuts.

What you said is the basic common sense but there is a huge fan following who is jumping into anything he says because his FUD has created them wealth. He has done that in the stock market and we know what he used to do in the cryptocurrency market shilling coins and that had huge impact on the market he is advertising simply because his followers are purchasing anything he says in large quantities.
