I have expanded my portfolio quite a bit in the last year. I am a big supporter of ALGO, SOL, AVAX and have always been a holder of LTC.  I also have been slowly putting money into projects like STRONG which has been an absolute monster. Running a node has been extremely profitable and if they do end up rewarding in ETH down the line it will become even better.

I think it's not right if you invest only in one coin, namely BTC. you should diversify as many coins. because with that you open up opportunities to enjoy increases if the price of the coins you buy increases. if we only invest in only one coin then if there is an increase in other coins we get nothing. Remember don't put all your eggs in the same basket

Well in my own case,  I recently put some money on fantom ftm, coti and cake to diversify my wallet, I will probably top up with some other few depending on the market behavior.

if you want to build a portfolio i suggest must check these coins NEAR, ALGO, FTM, CRV, SHIB, SOL and also SLP. They might go higher before this year end but for me i believe they will continually making good performance until next year as they look very promising  everyday when market is fine.  Actually i already made good profits from that coins this year.. And still expecting more in the future if they don't change.

It's good and why not? Diversify was a must to make sure you will be decreasing the risk by put all of your money in one basket. There are some tokens were giving you ability to earn passive income as well. This is a good thing to be combined with the capital gain that you can earn it by holding the major coin like bitcoin.

There's a lot of interesting things coming every day but it seems like you're a newbies and you must put your money into the safe place rather than bet into the a new coin but this was the most profitable way to generate more money.

If I have money at least $1 million then invest only bitcoin is a good thing, but if with small money under $100k then invest in altcoins is a better thing because it can make our money go up significantly, as we know that bitcoin price is higher from $60k, and it is very difficult to get 100% profit in the short term, whereas altcoins provide the opportunity for big profits in the short term.

For diversification I got some thousands of Cardano from 0.1-0.3$, few Solanas, many Egld, hundreds of Algo also very soon, some thousand of Vet and now also some rare eitbitape and popsicle NFTs (on Solana), some LTC because I like it very much and I used to mine it and much more cryptos...
But still thinking about something else to invest in something like fantom, solana, cardano but in the beginning if you know what I mean...

A big mistake if we only rely on bitcoin, despite being the king of cryptocurrencies but the target of investing is big profit, we know that with high prices like now it is difficult to get big profits from bitcoin, but by investing low-priced altcoins it is easier to get 10x profit even more in a month.

I know that there are a lot of bitcoin enthusiasts or maximalists on this forum that say that every other coin than bitcoin is a shit coin and not worth to invest in but to be honest i think this statement is wrong of course and i also think, that it is kinda arrogant to say. If you were early into crypto and by that i mean before 2015 or so and you bought 5 bitcoins back then for 1000$ then of course it is very easy to say know that every other coins is a shit coin, but i am pretty new to crypto and i don't have a whole BTC or a few ETH that i can just hodl or invest into other big projects. Every investment that i make comes from FIAT from my bank account and that is why i don't invest into bitcoin because i just don`t like the fact that i get 0,0015 bitcoin for 100$. I rather get 100 coins of a new and promising project for the same amount of money. Of course the risk is higher there, but you also have the small chance for a big profit.

Thou shall not put all your eggs in one basket. This is one of the golden rule in investing. Expanding your portfolio is a must and could help you avoid loses and could potentially gain you more. Another thing is that Alts could give you more returns than BTC. It can literally give you moonshot like 10x to 20x with the right marketing strategy unlike bitcoin that is hard to surpass the 2x one unless you were one of the early adopters.

Of course it's wise to have one's portfolio diversify and not just rely on Bitcoin only. I have no intention of selling my BTC any time soon, so altcoins are what I turn to for short term trade.

Nah, you are not doing something wrong. For better investment, I would advise to diversify your capital into different portfolio as in this case coins/tokens. It might be a little tiring for some people to check different type of coins and keeping an eye on the price but the profit would be really huge if you can manage to check all of them and make a wise decision based on the market.

It’s OK to diversify into alts but I wouldn’t advise anything more than 20% of your crypto portfolio. You should always remain top heavy in bitcoin, it’s top dog for a reason with a long term history of success.

bitcoin only the best option but you also have to expand your investment in several altcoins ,the poll list above is good enough but don't take the risk on shit coins ,you can invest long term or medium term in altcoin that have been proven to be superior and are supported by many community

It's okay if you'll invest into bitcoin only. But if you want to diversify, do not do that much because it's not looking good if you're too diversified. One altcoin that you can choose to diversify is with Ethereum. Most diversified portfolios are owning Ethereum and that's their next coin to invest with their money. Since you're asking where to invest, I guess you should stay first in bitcoin and learn at least with other altcoins within a few weeks to study about them.

The increase is purely a technical factor, because the position of the majority of assets, including Bitcoin is already in a high position. El Salvador which has legalized Bitcoin as a legal tender also provides many positives. the correction that occurs in the price of Bitcoin is currently waiting. the current correction will make the Bitcoin price stable first and Bitcoin will rise very significantly.

Depends on you because not all would really be having the same mindset when it comes to investment which means that it will really vary neither basing on your interest and of course your financial capacity because not all does really have it.

If you do see other opportunities then having altcoin option isnt really a bad choice too.It is really just mattering on when you had entered in the market
because there are of course trends and price actions.

Diversifying is always be a good thing if you do know on what you are doing.

Altcoins are also very profitable to invested. Just look at the very spectacular Cardano on the market. In 2019 the price of Cardano was $0.04, but now it is around $2.1, many other altcoins are also very potential, depending on our own choice.
