Yeah, it's normal to think that some strange meme coin won't enter top 10. And there it goes, it's now part of the top 10 sitting at the top 9 spot. It's okay for people like me who have judged this coin. I don't have it and you guys have it, that's the prize that you have for believing on it and that's what matters to all of you. It's true that the community plays a lot for the growth of that coin but I don't think that Dogecoin was flipped by its own community.

That's a common thing we know so well about that. If there was no bitcoin community and shiba and doge coin will not exist. Community was the main reason why crypto becomes even bigger from time to the time. More people join in the community means more trust was coming to the coin. I can't deny that if community was also a very important thing for crypto. It can build FOMO, Hype or even make big exchange sites to list a coin/token.

You called this as more than meme token when it has entered into the top 10 CMC but the different thing when it was only getting started last year and you might called that as a meme token as well. nothing different and it's just a name. Doge has a reason why it was getting flipped by shiba. Doge has unlimited supply and it can't do burn mechanism like shiba caused by it's truly decentralized.
I'm seeing shiba was just only pump and dump token although this one entered into the top 10 CMC but just take a look at so many whales were holding a lot of shiba. Doge can be minted anytime and basically there will always be a reason why the flippening is happening right now.

I understand the current hype with SHIBA but you must also know that whales are playing with this token, and look how volatile its price so its normal for someone not to buy SHIBA because of that risk. I don’t think DOGE is out of the game here, they started to show the green candles and seriously, after the SHIB hype I think DOGE will also rise. Just do your tradings accordingly and based on your strategy don’t just buy and hold.

You are right community is an important factor in making a coin and helping it to thrive like our Shiba coin today. i trusted it and got hold of some coins with very low buy value 0.0000000450$ i thought this was a lottery game and bet my luck on some shitcoin so i bought it at 50$ now I have quite a profit from this coin and that is the reward for believing in the future of this coin.

Community matter for the future development of a token/coin. The developers will always need the community to spread the news about the development progress. The community has become the main thing to support the price and encourage the new users to join and make it even bigger than before. Any token without a big community behind it will be so difficult to grow. Just to remind you, being in the top 10 in Coinmarketcap doesn't mean it's worth trading. Shiba INU is still a meme coin. Maybe much better compare to DOGE.

You also have to remember that there are lots of whales holding lots of SHIB. They can shake the market and trigger a crash once they decide to move their coin.

Yeah I did my research and it does not have any long term value hence I will not invest in it.

Memecoins thrive on hype and if you are a bagholder then you will know this already. If you are someone who is drooling over the price rise get ready for the shocker coming in at the time when you least expect it, which may not be coming soon but it will.

Similarly DOGE run upwards because someone freaky millionaire pumped it and even before than some manipulated pump and dumps used to happen on it.

Do these coins have any use case? No. Do they fix a problem that people face in daily life? No.

The chances of such coins being steady at higher prices is minimum. But if you are making a profit, book it and exit. I can tell this because I have the experience of trading and watching the markets for about 5+ years now. But you are free to make your own opinion.

why should compare doge and shiba, ? both have a large community . and in fact both have experienced very high and repeated bubbles. maybe people can make conclusions doge trend because of tweets and support from Elon. as for shiba? it's still not clear who is pumping the price? up thousands of % pure market activity? Each company brings a new 'cutting-edge technology. This is great, but not every company knows how to gather people around their idea, talk to them the right way, run AMAs, share insights, get ambassadors etc...

One of the ways I'd like to measure community growth is by checking the sentiment on different platforms like Twitter, Reddit, and even Wikipedia.

On Twitter, I like using Twitterfall. If you use it make sure you put the speed on high. Then see how fast the feed goes. If you see the feed is insanely fast, usually (from my experience) there's is some price change (which make sense).



Here's a cool tool that shows you the daily page views per Wikipedia page. It says a lot IMO. When a newcomer does his/her research about a coin Wikipedia page is among the first things they will check (usually). So the pageviews per project can actually be an indicator for community growth!


I recommend using tool like wikishark



Another great way to measure project community growth is by better understanding what Blockchain PR is. By checking the marketing effort a certain blockchain company is doing, you could determine its growth potential.
