I'm about to launch a token on the Waves blockchain for my interactive music label https://midistream.com/
and i consider using paypal along a Waves swap  my token (MDST) for my audience which is not mainly involve in crypto buying

But i still having doubt

-Paypal said it's okay to sell crypto with their service, i was surprise, i hope it's really okay
-Is it a good idea for crypto scene, even they will have a swap during ICO
-Concerning the security, paypal is far away from a dApp, maybe i should transfer the token kind of manually.

Any suggestions are welcome to optimise https://www.midi.finance/ where there is an airdrop now

  • Yes it's already available with PayPal after it recently adapted with crypto. However, it's not that friendly-use.
  • No worries if the developement progress of your project require such a swap to be made at one of the development stages.
  • No worries about security with PayPal but the "Refund" option will make people aware dealing with it with unknown parts.

Any suggestions are welcome to optimise https://www.midi.finance/
I wonder why you have chosen PayPal beside all other payment options. I advice you to consider adding more options to attract more traffic users (Potential investors) to your platform.

Hi,
thank you for your interest.

I was working (in Europe) with mollie, a kind of paypal more advanced for online payments here
but they claim that it's forbidden to use their services to sell crypto, so i asked to paypal
because i know they accept crypto for payments.

What we are doing with paypal is just swapping fiat to my crypto.

No worries with security everything is checked manually...but we never know

You are right, we should include more options,we will consider it next week.
