I have been here since 2014 and I have been seeing bunch of failed adult platforms. that idea was not a good idea to be combined with crypto. TBH you can only use crypto as a payment and it's only the way to make crypto will be useful for the adult platform. I never heard about adult defi but I was learning a lot from the track record of adult platform that was trying to work together with crypto so many times and these platforms were become failed platforms and they are all dead right now.
I just answering this question based on what I have been seeing since a few years ago in the development of adul platform in the crypto space. I will take a conclusion if adult defi will not have big potential like what you have said that above. There will always be a chance but it's relatively small compared when you're building defi focusing in the financial system.

I bought my first altcoins in 2014 as well, and i totally agree with you. It makes way more sense to use cryptos as borderless & permissionless payments and not as a platform for camgirls/whatever. There indeed has been huge amount of these and they fail because blockchain tech that would make sense as a platform on this doesn't exist yet.
